An associate professor of at least 3 years in a University can also apply. Considerable experience in teaching/research in a University is require. Candidates should have capacity to participate inter/multi disciplinary research, ability to provide academic leadership with reasonable administrative experience

ASSOCIATE PROFESSOR PHD with 8 years teaching/research experience in a university with some years of post qualification teaching ad research experience in a University with several scholarly publications and administrative experience and demonstrate ability to provide academic leadership. A senior lecturer of at least 3 years in a University can also apply. Considerable experience in teaching/research in a University is require. Candidates should have capacity to participate inter/multi disciplinary research, ability to provide academic leadership with reasonable administrative experience

SENIOR LECTURER – PHD with at least 3 years teaching experience as lecturer I where applicable or PHD with 6 years experience in teaching/research in a University -demonstrate research capacity through scholarly publications in reputable journals and must have reasonable administrative experience and ability to provide academic leadership

LECTURER I – PHD with at least 3 years teaching experience as lecturer II where applicable or PHD with 3 years experience in teaching/research in a University -demonstrate research capacity through scholarly publications in reputable journals

LECTURER II PHD in related discipline with evidence of teaching ad research/potential experience

ASSISTANT LECTURER first degree with masters degree in relevant discipline from a recognised University with evidence of teaching ad research experience and evidence of registration of PHD

SPECIFIC REQUIREMENTS Management technology unit expertise or specialisation must be in one or more of the following areas: BUSINESS MANAGEMENT, PROJECT EVALUATION AND OPERATIONS MANAGEMENT

Department of accounting and finance banking and finance unit accounting unit expertise or specialisation must be in one or more of the following areas:

QUALIFICATIONS FOR NON ACADEMIC POSITIONS
1.
FACULTY OF EDUCATION DEPARTMENT OF SCIENCE AND TECHNOLOGY EDUCATION MEDIA TECHNOLOGIST – degree in media or communication related discipline plus working experience in a television/media studio as part of media production crew and membership of professional association in the media industry will be a plus

DEPARTMENT OF PHYSICAL AND HEALTH EDUCATION BSC/BED in physical and health education/health education/exercise physiology with at least 3 years post grad experience

2. FACULTY OF SOCIAL SCIENCE DEPARTMENT OF PSYCHOLOGY LABORATORY TECHNICIAN diploma in clinical laboratory or related field with registered membership of the Institute of Laboratory Technologist for Technician. An OND in linical laboratory will be an added advantage with 3 years experience with ability to set up clinical behavioral experiments in a psychotherapy center and animal laboratory.

DEPARTMENT OF SOCIOLOGY SYSTEM ANALYST II first degree in computer science/informatics or related field with formal training in system analysis and computer programming is required

DEPARTMENT OF GEOGRAPHY AND PLANNING GIS TECHNOLOGIST BSC/HND in GIS with at least 3 years experience or MSC in IS in lieu of 3 years experience, conversant with GIS/econometrics related software

LABORATORY ASSISTANT WASC/GCE with credits in English language plus science subjects or year II preliminary examinations of city and guild or LTTS

LABORATORY ATTENDANT WASC/GEC/SSCE with credits in English and science subjects

TECHNOLOGIST II final diploma in science laboratory technology from a recognise institution or part II city and Guild (London certificate) in science laboratory of HND in science laboratory technology or BSC science laboratory technology with AIST/ANIST
