The ideal candidates for these positions will be mid - senior management level staff with proven abilities and possess indepth understanding of the commercial banking landscape.
Job Title: Business Intelligence Officer

Job Description
Reporting to the Head, Commercial Banking the successful candidates will be primarily responsible for market strategies and translating business strategies into actionable goals.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement a suitable framework for collating, analyzing and reporting on Group performance
- Develop and maintain a network of contacts and intelligence leads within the industry share best practice, source relevant information; and identify opportunities to improve the quality of decision making within the Group and the Bank as a whole.
- Coordinate market and competitor intelligence to support Group decision-making
- Collate activity and performance reports across the Group,
- Manage and maintain the data, intelligence, and reports obtained and created within the Group in an orderly and accessible format.
- Document/ compile relevant reports and presentations on Group performance for a variety of stakeholder needs.
Qualification, Skills and Experience - A Bachelors degree in any related discipline.
- Higher Degrees (MBA)/Professional Certification will be an added advantage.
- Minimum experience: five (5) years relevant experience.

Reporting To: The Business Manager, Commercial Banking,
Job Description The successful candidates will be responsible for growing revenue through proactively executing sales and relationship management strategies.
Key Responsibilities- Proactively manage and deepen relationship with assigned clients.
- Work collaboratively with the Business manager to identify target and engage prospective clients.
- Structure credit facilities to ensure optimum balance between the customer and the banks interest.
- Collate information on and periodically analyze customer behavioral trends data and generate periodic reports for the attention of the Business Manager.
- Provide support to the Business Manager in the development of new offerings in line with customer needs and ensure compliance with regulatory rules and guidelines.
- Proactively monitor account activities to escalate any issues/ challenges (i.e. dormancy, irregular transactions, etc).
- Support the unit’s financial performance management activities, providing business group decision makers with financial information, analysis and reports as required.
Qualification, Skills and Experience- A Bachelor’s degree in any related discipline.
- A higher degree will be an added advantage.
- Minimum three (3) years relevant banking experience.

Reporting To: The Regional Head, Commercial Banking
Job Description The successful candidates will be responsible for identifying business opportunities and growing the Commercial Banking Group’s share of wallet.
Key Responsibilities- Manage and deepen existing relationships with existing and respective customers.
- Win new accounts and resuscitate dormant relationships.
- Initiate development of products while ensuring the customers’ needs are met.
- Ensure proactive and efficient service and maintenance of customers.
- Structure credit facilities to meet customer needs in line with the bank’s policies.
- Collate and analyze marketing (customer behavioral trends) data and generate periodic reports for the attention of the Regional Heads.

Job Description
The successful candidates will be responsible for championing the expansion of the Bank’s commercial banking business, developing and providing specialised financial solutions including the definition of marketing and sales strategies.
Key Responsibilities- Grow the Commercial Banking Group’s market share of relevant business in line with targets set by the Bank’s Management.
- Champion the expansion/business development activities of the Bank by identifying and appraising opportunities in the commercial banking space that will enhance shareholder value in line with overall strategic objectives.
- Develop business plan for the region with clear customer targets, resource requirements & profitability.
- Develop and maintain relationship with clients, by providing professional and specialized financial solutions in all areas.
- Provide specialist financial advice & support to strategically important customers.
- Identify & consummate new business opportunities, prepare and implement plans for growing client base.
- Ensure overall competitiveness of Bank’s brand, whilst ensuring optimum utilization of allocated resources to achieve desired profitability and goals.
Qualification, Skills and Experience- First degree in related discipline.
- Higher Degrees (MBA)/Professional Certification will be an added advantage.
- Minimum experience: ten (10) years relevant experience with at least fifteen (15) years banking experience.
