Job Title: Contract Manager
Location: Lagos
Job Description
- Oversee the operations of each logistics executive within a contract and ensure customer order fulfilment in accordance with TSL’s health, safety and security regulations and policies
- Provide key indices on operational (direct and indirect) cost and service delivery capabilities to properly position for future planning
- Following up on special orders, problems, questions and issues that require immediate attention and answers
- Provide assistance and support to logistics executives as relates to safe delivery of customer order and truck turnaround
- Manage relationships with the Union officials at the various contract locations
- Maximize revenue through management of order fulfilment and spot hire requests received from customers
- Coordinate the activities of all Logistics executives in each contract
- Monitor availability of trucks to be utilized for operations
- Monitor truck’s turn around, siding and offsite repairs.
- Liaise with Fleet Management to ensure speedy release of trucks under repair with TSL Support/MROs in accordance with Service Level Agreement
- Provide key indices report on operational activities on a daily and weekly basis to identify exceptions
- Prepare the Union’s (PTD/NUPENG) insurance and bridging claims if applicable
- Conflict resolution that may arise between Logistics executives and drivers
- Attendance of weekly/monthly/quarterly operations meetings
Job Title: Graduate Trainee
Location: Lagos, Calabar
Job Description
- Revenue optimization & Cash Management
- Provide value-added Customer service to TSL
- Coordinate logistics and transport operations including:
- Daily preparation of list of available trucks to be utilized for operations
- Coordinate inspection of trucks calibration charts on monthly basis and tracking of expiry date
- Monitor truck’s turn around and give possible feedback to the contract coordinator on siding or offsite repairs.
- Liaise with Fleet Maintenance unit to ensure vehicles are maintained and repaired in line with maintenance and repair schedules Issuance collection and submission of monthly Truck Movement cards.
- Collation and processing of Driver Waybills for Invoicing
- Manage all driver related activities/performances and escalate recommendations to Drivers Administration Department
- Provide key indices report on operational activities on a daily and weekly basis to identify exceptions
- Attendance of operations meetings.

Job Title: Chief Security Officer
Locations: Calabar - Cross River & Lagos
Job Description
Reporting directly to the H.O.D HSSEQ, the Chief Security Officer will be responsible for the planning and execution of the department’s security policies and procedures. Specifically, he will:
- Work closely with the H.O.D HSSEQ to understand corporate requirements related to security and regulatory compliance, and to map those requirements to current security needs.
- Develop, implement and manage the overall process for security strategy and associated policies, procedures, standards and guidelines
- Oversee the continuous monitoring and protection of facilities, assets and personnel including surveillance, background checks, etc.
- Oversee the development of, and be the enterprise champion of, a corporate security awareness and training programme
- Evaluate changes to the corporate environment for security impact and present findings to management
- Resolution of all security issues on time and budget
- Evaluate suspected and potential security breaches and recommend corrective actions (Including incidents involving outside vendors)
- Serve as the company’s focal point for security incident response planning and execution. In particular, advise on cases relating to the Police, Army and other law enforcement agencies as well as liaising and following on these agencies on all security issues affecting the company
- Define and implement a ‘live’ TSL Security Risk Assessment Programme, which will define, identify, and classify critical assets, assess threats and vulnerabilities regarding those assets, and implement safeguard recommendations
Requirement
- Minimum of 10 years working in the Nigerian Police, SSS or similar organization with responsibility for investigation, surveillance, asset protection etc.
