Job Title: Business Development Manager
Location: Lagos
Job Description
- The Business Development Manager will be responsible for the development of the sales strategy and execution of agreed tactics to achieve the business goals.
- He/she will be required to work with the business development (and marketing team as a whole) to carry out research on and conduct analysis of opportunities, ideas and scenarios that are relevant to the firm's business.
- Drive peak performance for sales, devise and implement strategy for meeting sales performance targets.
- Track, log and manage tasks and projects using supplied knowledge & project management tools
- Participate in meetings and briefings (both internal and external)
- Interface with clients and effectively discharge any assigned tasks.
- Guide cost analysis process by providing trends and forecasts; explaining processes and techniques; recommending actions.
- Conducts marketing, business, and trend analysis through the use of predictive statistics, customer profiling, and data analysis.
- Locates or proposes potential business deals by contacting potential clients, discovering and exploring opportunities.
- Screens potential business deals by preparing and analysing marketing strategies, deal requirements, potential and financials; evaluating options; resolving internal priorities; recommending equity investments.
- Developing and negotiating contracts; integrating contract requirement with business operations.
Requirements
Education:
- 2:1 in a Bachelor's Degree required in any program under the Management & Social Sciences, Pure Sciences or Law faculties from a reputable higher institution.
- Completion of National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) program.
- Masters degree or MBA is an added advantage.
Skills and Experience:
- Previous business development and sales experience are requisite.
- Ability to read and write effectively, including technical writing skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- The ability to conduct cost/benefit analysis

Job Title: Business Development Associate
Location: Lagos
Job Description
- Meet or exceed targets relating to revenue growth, activities, profit margin, mix of products and services sales, customer retention and customer acquisition.
- Adhere to all quality standards and processes, for the acquisition of customers and opportunities
- Provide regular feedback to management about marketplace and competitor activity
- Develop effective working relationships with customers through regular meetings
- Identify and obtain further sales and business development opportunities
- Work with and Group marketing to develop marketing campaigns to support Sales Strategy.
- Generate new business and raise awareness of other company products.
- Identify requirements for new products & services to anticipate and potentially lead the market
- Apply Company wide project management standards responding to customer needs and managing the sales process from opportunity identification to customer sign off.
- Preparing PowerPoint presentations and sales displays
- Contacting clients to inform them about new developments in the company’s products
Requirements
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in any program under the Management and Social Sciences from a higher institution
- Relevant compliance related certification is an added advantage.
Skills and Experience:
- Minimum of 1 years work experience NYSC
