Job Title: State Programme Coordinator / Head of Centre
Locations: Adamawa and Sokoto
Job Description
- Responsible for the smooth running of all aspects of the programme, establishing procedures and solving problems quickly and efficiently.
- The State Programme Coordinator’s role is a position of responsibility; you will be monitoring all aspects of the programme and staff at the centre.
Education/Qualification /Skills & Experience
- 4+ years experience managing a school/centre
- University Degree in any field. Master's Degree in administration or Management is an added advantage.
- Fluency in English, Hausa and local languages of Sokoto or Adamawa States
- Manages timetabling of the centre and its various activities,
- Run, administer, and organize project activities.
- Ensure the effective preparation and delivery of all project events and meetings.
- Implement agreed action plan to high quality standards and within deadlines.
- Evaluation of project activity and regular reporting on project progress to Neem HQ.
- Provide periodic project update reports.
Job Title: Teacher (Mathematics, English, I.C.T, Civic Education / Vocational Studies)
Locations: Adamawa and Sokoto
Job Description
- This role is to deliver classroom instruction that helps students learn.
- To accomplish this, educators must prepare effective lessons, grade student work and offer feedback, manage classroom materials, productively navigate the curriculum, and collaborate with other staff.
Education/Qualification /Skills & Experience
- 4+ years Proven experience as a teacher of any of the above mentioned subjects
- BA/BSc in any discipline
- Thorough knowledge of teaching best practices and legal educational guidelines partnered with a willingness to follow the Centre’s policies and procedures
- Excellent written and spoken communication skills
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Well-organized and committed
- Creative and energetic
- Strong moral values and discipline
- Degree in teaching or in a specialized subject with a certificate in education
- Ability to train others

Job Title: Teaching Support Staff
Locations: Adamawa and Sokoto
Job Description
- Reinforce lessons presented by teachers by reviewing material with students one-on-one or in small groups.
- Help teachers with recordkeeping, such as tracking attendance and calculating grades.
- Help teachers prepare for lessons by getting materials ready or setting up equipment, such as computers.
- Help supervise students in class, between classes, during lunch and breaks
Education/Qualification /Skills & Experience
- B.Sc / BA in any discipline
- 2+ years experience teaching I.C.T, Mathematics, English, Civic Education/Vocational Studies

Job Title: Admin Officer

- The Admin Officer would provide office and administrative support to the centre.
- This role is vital for the smooth running of the programme.
- She/he will act as the point of contact for all employees, providing administrative support and managing their queries.
Education/Qualification /Skills & Experience
- University Degree in any discipline. Masters Degree in Administration or Management is an added advantage.
- 2+ years previous experience in an Admin role.

Job Title: Centre Nurse
Locations: Adamawa and Sokoto
Job Description
- The Centre Nurses perform a critical role within the school health programme by addressing the major health problems experienced by children.
- This role includes providing preventive and screening services, health education and assistance with decision-making about health, and immunisation against preventable diseases
Education/Qualification /Skills & Experience
- University Degree in Nursing. Masters Degree in Psychology or Child care is an added advantage.
- 2+ years experience
- Ability to use initiative and establishing priorities
- Ability to deal with emotionally charged and pressured situations
- Attention to detail.
- Capacity to prioritize by assessing situations to determine urgency.
- Skill in developing and maintaining effective working relationships.

Job Title: Psychosocial Worker
Locations: Adamawa and Sokoto
Job Description
- Evaluate beneficiaries' knowledge and skills before and after the sessions; organise and direct sessions on identifying psychological distress, self-care strategies, and referral mechanism;
- Stimulate exchange and participation among the beneficiaries of different groups.
Education/Qualification /Skills & Experience
- University Degree in Psychology or any related field. Masters Degree in Psychology is an added advantage.
- 2+ years experience in similar role
- Provides a basic range of psychological services to clients.
- Consults with other professionals, regarding the evaluation and treatment of clients.
- Provides psychological assessment, testing and evaluation, referral, consultation, programme planning, chemical dependency counselling/education, prevention service/activities, individual, couples, group and family therapy.
- Interact with clients to provide assessment, testing, diagnosis treatment, case management, follow up and treatment planning, with physicians to provide consultation.
- Collaborates and cooperates in a professional manner with co-workers, other departments and other agencies in order to assure effective continuity of care and services.
- Prepares and maintains mental health notes and narrative reports of mental health activities (in the appropriate charting format).
- Maintain clients’ records, as part of the Medical records system and follows policies of records and maintenance of client confidentiality
- Fluency in English & Hausa languages.
