Job Title: Senior Fixed Income Dealer

Location: Nigeria

Job Objective(s)

  • The Position Holder is responsible for handling both proprietary, and clients’ fixed income transactions with the aim of profitably building the company’s market share of fixed income transactions in the market, whilst maintaining excellent service levels in trade execution

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Develop Proprietary Models: Build Fixed Income model portfolios, including proprietary models, and regularly develop investment strategies based on capital market expectations as well as current trends/themes.
  • Execute Clients’ Mandates: Execute client instructions in respect to either buying or selling fixed income instruments.
  • Proprietary Trading: Profitably manage firm’s proprietary fixed income book.
  • Maintain Deal Flow: Use network and experience to support fixed income deal flow.
  • Support Business Development: Development and review of business development proposals for fixed-income mandates for both current and prospective customers, in alliance with the marketing and business development department.
  • The Position Holder is also responsible for preparing sales pitches and provide investment advisory & timely information, in general, to clients.
  • Market Presentations: Preparing and making regular presentations on the economy, industry trends, portfolio performance and market outlook to Management, Investment Management Committee, institutional clients etc.
  • Fixed Income Research: Undertakes thorough research into fixed-income and other investment activities and produces useful reports for both investment activities and investment advisory services.
  • The Position Holder is also responsible for assisting with packaging economic and stock research for dissemination via Bloomberg and other portals.
  • Portfolio Monitoring: Constant reviewing of the asset allocation of mutual funds which have fixed-income securities’ components to ensure compliance with the trust deeds. The Position Holder is also responsible for tracking portfolio performance & monitoring of implemented strategies.
  • Manage Performance of Fixed Income Desk: Responsible for implementation performance benchmarks for respective trading portfolio, and monitoring same on a regular basis.
  • Supports Team’s Development: Provides advice, guidance and assistance to less experienced colleagues as required.

Education and Experience

  • Bachelor degree from an accredited university
  • Relevant professional qualification (e.g. Chartered Institute of Stockbrokers
  • Minimum of 6 years of cognate experience

Job Title: Head, IT Strategy and Governance

Location: Nigeria

About the Role

  • The job holder will define and lead the implementation of the IT governance using the appropriate frameworks, and support the CIO to create, maintain and monitor the IT strategy.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of a first degree or its equivalent in a Business /IT related discipline
  • Professional certifications such as CGEIT, COBIT5 and/or TOGAF 9 would be advantageous
  • 8+ years of experience in strategy, planning or architecture in a financial services industry.

Other Required Knowledge and Capabilities:
The ideal candidate should possess:

  • Extensive experience in developing strategic systems architecture plans, and establishing and maintaining IT governance and standards
  • Experience in application development lifecycle, project management methodology, business and systems analysis, IT governance and information security.
  • Profound experience in the assessment of IT value and optimization of IT investments.

Job Title: Brand Manager

Location: Nigeria

About the Role

  • The job holder will be responsible for designing efficient branding processes to maintain brand consistency, justifying branding efforts with data, building inter-departmental relationships to build support bases for branding activities and driving real-time engagements in the social media space.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree from an accredited University
  • Master’s Degree in Public Relations or Marketing
  • Professional Certification in Public Relations or Advertising from a recognized professional body (e.g. CIPR, NIPR, APCON)

The ideal candidate should possess:

  • Minimum of 6 years of work experience in Corporate Communication, Advertising and/or Marketing Research.
