Job Title: Marketing Coordinator
Location: Surulere, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Key Responsibilities

  • Setup tracking systems for marketing campaigns and online activities.
  • Conduct market research to identify marketing opportunities and negotiate media coverage.
  • Traffic all advertising efforts to appropriate channels.
  • Manage print contractors and other promotional vendors.
  • Maintain strict confidentiality of sensitive information.
  • Simplify complex data into a user-friendly format such as graphs, charts and other visual aids for clients and management.
  • Develop and manage all internal communication systems.
  • Create, maintain and strengthen the organization’s overall brand through all media avenues.
  • Organize and streamline service offerings into user-friendly concepts.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Marketing / Communications or related (essential).
  • Two years of experience in content management, creative writing, advertising concepts and media negotiations.
  • Critical thinker with strong problem-solving and research proficiencies.

 

 

 

Job Title: Forester
Location: Surulere, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct public educational programs on forest care and conservation.
  • Procure timber from private landowners.
  • Subcontract with loggers or pulpwood cutters for tree removal and to aid in road layout.
  • Plan cutting programs and manage timber sales from harvested areas, assisting companies to achieve production goals.
  • Monitor wildlife populations and assess the impacts of forest operations on population and habitats.
  • Plan and direct construction and maintenance of recreation facilities, fire towers, trails, roads and bridges, ensuring that they comply with guidelines and regulations set for forested public lands.
  • Contact local forest owners and gain permission to take inventory of the type, amount, and location of all standing timber on the property.
  • Provide advice and recommendations, as a consultant on forestry issues, to private woodlot owners, firefighters, government agencies or to companies.
  • Study different tree species' classification, life history, light and soil requirements, adaptation to new environmental conditions and resistance to disease and insects.
  • Develop new techniques for wood or residue use.
  • Develop techniques for measuring and identifying trees.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Environmental Science or related field
  • Minimum of 1 - 5 years work experience.

 

 

 

Job Title: Botanist
Location: Surulere, Lagos

Key Responsibilities

  • Analyzing plant responses and reporting possible trends, benefits, or concerns.
  • Encouraging desirable traits in plants through breeding techniques.
  • Raising awareness about environmental concerns and conservation efforts and assisting with disaster relief after floods, droughts, etc.
  • Working with others, including other Botanists, team members, or students to achieve project objectives.
  • Managing research group members and resources.

Botanist Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Botany, Biology, or related field.
  • Understanding of plant life, processes, and traits, scientific principles, and environmental concerns.
  • Excellent interpersonal, research, problem-solving, and verbal and written communication skills.
  • Willingness to travel and work with others.
  • Strong public speaking and negotiation skills may be beneficial.
  • Minimum of 2 - 6 years work experience.
