Job Title: Agronomist

Location: Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Responsibilities

• Conduct soil tests, analyze results, and recommend optimal fertilizer applications and soil amendments.
• Monitor crop health, identify pests and diseases, and recommend integrated pest management (IPM) solutions.
• Develop and maintain relationships with farmers, suppliers, and industry stakeholders.
• Manage farm workers.
• Develop and implement crop rotation plans, irrigation schedules, and pest management strategies.
• Provide expert advice on crop selection, variety selection, and planting techniques.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Agronomy, Soil Science, Crop Science, or a related field.
• Strong knowledge of soil science, plant physiology, and entomology.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Salary
N150,000 - N200,000 Monthly.
