Job Title: Business Development Officer

Location: Lagos

Job Summary

  • The Business Development Officer's responsibilities include identifying company products and services that are under performing, developing an in-depth knowledge of company offerings, pricing, and policies, and improving existing sales proposals.

Responsibilities

  • Developing and sustaining solid relationships with company stakeholders and customers.
  • Analyzing customer feedback data to determine whether customers are satisfied with company products and services.
  • Providing insight into product development and competitive positioning.
  • Analyzing financial data and developing effective strategies to reduce business costs and increase company profits.
  • Conducting market research to identify new business opportunities.
  • Collaborating with company executives to determine the most viable, cost-effective approach to pursue new business opportunities.
  • Meeting with potential investors to present company offerings and negotiate business deals.

Academic Qualifications

  • A good First Degree in Business Development or Business Administration and a Master’s Degree in Business Administration (MBA)
  • Chattered Institute of Marketing (CIM)
  • The Institute of Sales and Marketing Management (ISMM)
  • Experience: 4-6 years of sales or marketing experience

Key Skills & Competencies:

  • Ability to perform duties independently under general, minimal supervision within specific assignments.
  • Strong presentation skills.
  • A deep understanding for marketing principles
  • Sales planning & Closing skills
  • Identification of customer needs and challenges.

Job Title: Officer - Product Development, Research & Development

Location: Lagos

Job Purpose

  • Resource/function focused on product design, development, innovation, research and development; whose responsibility is to come up with innovations for new clients to remain ever green and also customizing our existing products to create new ones for the matured clients we have.
  • This function looks at particular existing clients, reviews what they’ve ever done with us, looks at their industry and any regulations and specifically designs products they will find irresistible borne out of careful research.

Responsibilities

  • Product development
  • Product innovation
  • Research & Development
  • Research regions, industries, regulations, competition …
  • Product design for existing clients by maturity levels
  • Product design for new clients by region
  • Drafting/Crafting Specialized Proposals.

Requirements
Academic Qualification:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or Industrial Design.

Key Skills & Competencies:

  • Has good problem solving abilities
  • Is able to troubleshoot issues and determine the cause of a plan’s success or failure.
  • Stays current with the latest trends in merchandise.
  • Possesses strong marketing skills.
  • Has excellent leadership abilities.
  • Keeps up to date with changes in the market and technology that would affect new product development.
  • Is able to meet deadlines.

Demand on the job:

  • Candidates can be contract and preferably outside of the country.
