Job Summary
The Brand Manager is the custodian of the Bank’s brand assets and is responsible for maintaining uniformity across all brand platforms while building the equity of the brand and ensuring competitiveness in the industry.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Oversee successful activation and implementation of brand identity assets and values across the Bank
- Manage the brand, events & sponsorships, advertising, web and graphics teams
- Ensure compliance/standardization of communication platforms and materials in line with brand identity guidelines across the Bank
- Identify and develop strong alliances/partnerships with reputable local and international external agencies and suppliers
- Identify and execute brand research to evaluate bank’s brand performance across markets (TOMA, SOV, Advertising spend vs competition, Consumer perception)
- Provide design, development and production for all the bank’s 2D and 3D collaterals in line with visual identity guideline/standards.
- Implement brand acculturation programme of the bank to ensure full understanding and adoption of the Brand across the group
- M.Sc. or B.A (Mass Comm, Marketing, Journalism, Graphic design or related discipline)
- Minimum 10 years’ experience in marketing (focusing on branding)
- Excellent IT & graphic design knowledge
- Good understanding of change management
- Good knowledge of financial brands
- Understanding of strategy development and strong record of execution
- Experience at a brand management consultancy or advertising agency is a significant advantage
- In depth knowledge of brand and marketing principles
- Strong graphics and creative knowledge
