Role Context
  • TecBlu is fully accountable for business partnering, solution delivery and user experience management. The Business Analyst works across the Business Service portfolio of projects, transformations and service offerings to drive market performance and outcomes.
Business Analyst Role Includes Three Key Elements:
  • The Business Analyst will support the Solution Architecture and Development Leads in ensuring that TecBlu is completely aligned with business expectations and the delivering of quality services and solutions through understanding and managing market’s needs. The design and delivery of solutions must ensure brilliant user experience that creates value and supports the customer’s business growth ambitions:
    • Ensuring that business requirements are defined and addressed
    • Identifying, evaluating and recommending relevant technical solutions to business problems
    • Assuring the realization of committed business benefits.
Top Accountabilities
  • Identifies local business demand & needs and feeds through to Solution Delivery Lead, User Experience and Service Heads as appropriate
  • Assists the Solution Delivery Lead with development and documentation of the business case for portfolio and customised projects
  • For deployed solutions, prevents or corrects defects, making changes, enhancements and maintenance of the system to enhance the value of the system. Includes system validation reports and evaluating the system to find when the replacement or deactivation is needed
  • Provides customer support and reviews in discovering, designing and implementing relevant and agreed technologies in line with business requirements
  • Supports customer in defining and implementing test environments and test cases to validate solution deliveries.
  • Leads ongoing reviews of business processes and develops CPI (Continuous Process Improvement) and optimization strategies by leveraging existing assets, proposing enhancements or establishing need for new solutions.
  • Develops continuous process improvement interventions and facilitates Lean projects to improve processes. Works with key business stakeholders and multi-jurisdictional units to build a continuous improvement environment to support an ongoing program of change
  • Reviews and appraises software, hardware, people and processes to ensure Fit-for-Purpose and goal oriented
Typically the business analyst will:
  • Analyse the structure of a business, how it uses technology and what its goals are
  • Identify problems within a business, including through using proven business analysis, discovery / requirements / needs gathering and data modelling techniques
  • Communicate with senior people in organisations to find out what they hope to achieve
  • Formulate ways for businesses to improve, based on previous research
  • Persuade internal and external stakeholders of the benefits of new technology or strategies
  • Oversee the implementation of new technology and systems
  • Run workshops and training sessions
Qualifications and Experience Required
  • Knowledge of various Software Development and Infrastructure Deployment methodologies will be an added advantage.
  • Experience and use of Project & Program Management techniques
  • Experience in Agile project delivery methodologies.

  • Bachelor's Degree required in a relevant field: Computing, Business Systems, Data Analysis, etc.
  • 3 - 5 years experience of core ICT systems and infrastructure deployments via the accurate translation of business requirements, recognizing impact on business processes, and making recommendations
