Role Summary
- The CCS Digital Manager holds primary responsibility for building, overseeing and orchestrating GE Digital’s inside LCS & Ultrasound sales capabilities for the Africa region.
Essential Responsibilities
Short Term:
- Ensure the smooth and complete integration of the High Acuity Care business into LCS Sales Africa
- List and realign the current existing offering around workflow management, alarm management and analytics within LCS into an appealing value proposition
- Assess the quality of robustness of commercial and delivery processes and suggest improvements
- The integration of Ultrasound IT tools into Ultrasound Sales Africa
- Realign Ultrasound IT offering with clear value proposition
- Deliver training to the frontline teams on Ultrasound IT solutions
- Monitor and improve the quality of delivery and after sales technical support.Medium & Long term
- Lead Acute Care entire business offering and manage the growth of that business
- Integrate our digital offering around Cardiology and Maternal Infant Care
- Grow the Ultrasound IT business in Africa and develop the capabilities within the team needed for that growth
- The candidate will bring successful experience building a data-driven inside sales culture within a complex global B2B environment along with the leadership acumen to drive execution in alignment with the rest of GE CCS and Digital
- You will be helping GE CCS build a common inside sales operating model with consistent roles, processes and tools to enable the company’s growth while better serving its customers.
Qualifications/Requirements
- College Degree or equivalent
- Very strong B2B Inside Sales and B2B sales leadership experience with an enterprise software or SaaS company
- Significant experience selling into one or more of the following industries Healthcare or Digital
- Executive maturity and business savvy. A keen listener. Ability to forge relationships in a highly influencer-driven culture. Possesses strong motivational and well-developed influencing skills
- Balanced, well grounded, with servant leadership perspective and approach

Technical Expertise:
- Works with individuals across the GE businesses on how to use Big Data to collect and analyze market information as well as how to present analysis and recommendations to drive strategic commercial decisions; Asked by C-level business leaders to review market data and make recommendations that lead to comprehensive and rapid decisions that impact overall business strategy
- Trains others to effectively use digital environments to collect market knowledge; Coaches people on how to listen, participate, and leverage influence in digital settings; Establishes a large following and expansive digital network of contacts
- Effectively manages and possesses working industry knowledge and skill-set (of self or others) in assigned vertical; Utilizes industry knowledge and skill-sets to support an industry relevant line of questioning and resultant problem solving definition; recommends decisions that inform commercial growth strategies
- Proactively identifies pipeline risks and develops mitigation plans; Proactively shares 'best practices' to improve pipeline efficiency; Helps to develop sales team relationships with key contacts; Communicates pipeline issues to sales team; Identifies key issues with sales forecasts and focuses resources/ assistance where appropriate
