Job Title: JavaScript developer (Full Stack)

Job Summary
- We are seeking a dedicated full-stack JavaScript developer to join our growing company. You will work on projects with other team members to create solutions using JavaScript frameworks.
- As a full-stack JavaScript developer, you will need to have a keen eye for detail and the ability to think logically, as well as be able to apply software design patterns and best practices to develop bespoke solutions to project requirements.
- Your duties will include writing and testing software for new projects as well as maintaining existing projects.
Responsibilities
- Design and develop bespoke software solutions to meet project requirements
- Fix bugs in, update, and maintain existing projects
- Integrate third-party services and APIs into projects, such as for communicating with other platforms for payment processing or data retrieval
- Use a variety of popular JavaScript tools and frameworks, such as jQuery and Node.js
- Work as part of a team of other front-end web developers and back-end software engineers to meet various sprint and project deadlines
- Develop tests for existing code to catch bugs and ensure the software is secure and stable
Qualifications
- Either a Bachelor's Degree in a technical field involving coding (e.g., Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, Mathematics) or equivalent technical experience
- Strong knowledge of JavaScript , including familiarity with data structures, data typing, and prototype inheritance
- An understanding of common software project team management tools and practices, such as version control software, sprints, and daily scrums
- Must have a working laptop, strong internet connection and backup power supply.
- Knowledge of one or more of several popular JavaScript tools and frameworks, such as Node.js, CSS, React, Ember, or Vue
- Familiarity with common programming best practices, data patterns, and software design structures
- Must be willing to work from 2pm to 10pm.
Skills required:
- Advanced knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
- Expertise in JavaScript libraries and frameworks, including the ability to build custom solutions
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to debug complex issues
- Ability to mentor as well as lead a team of junior developers and guide them to success
- Good grasp of design patterns as well as software engineering principles
- Knowledge of front-end performance optimization techniques
- Knowledge of Node.js, Express.js, and MongoDB database technologies.
- Knowledge of advanced data structures and algorithms
- Ability to design and implement complex software architecture
- Ability to write code that is efficient, scalable, and maintainable
- Expertise in web development tools and workflows, including continuous integration and deployment (CI/CD)
Salary
N200,000 / month.
