Lumos enables people to replace hazardous and expensive kerosene generators and lanterns with modern solar electricity that can power lights, cellphones, fans, computers, TVs and other basic electronic devices (all at once, every day). By offering solar power as a service, Lumos offers homes and small businesses a simple and affordable way to pay for electricity in small instalments using their mobile phones and other payment channels.

We are recruiting to fill the position below:

 


Job Title: Inventory Clerk

Location: Agbara, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Description

  • Monitors and maintains inventory in assigned warehouse.
  • Daily opening count (serial numbers)
  • Daily closing count (serial numbers)
  • Daily stock-out to field technicians in-line with caseload
  • Regular reporting and escalation of potential issues to management
  • Inspects shipments for accuracy and completeness, and immediately escalates inconsistencies
  • Adherence to budget, schedule and standards to be met, and monitoring these items
  • Understand the ordering, warehousing and shipping process
  • Implement inventory management in accordance with company policies, protocols and procedures
  • Provide regular and timely feedback, escalating problems and proffering solutions
  • Daily stock-in from field technicians in-line with caseload
  • Weekly, monthly and quarterly serialized count
  • Warehouse supervision and security
  • Receiving and shipping items to/from warehouses
  • Receives stock to warehouse in accordance with company policies, procedures and protocols releases stock from warehouse in accordance with company policies, procedures and protocols

Educational Qualifications & Functional / Technical Skills

  • The candidates should possess a Bachelor's Degree in relevant fields with 1 - 3 years work experience. 
  • Knowledge of ordering and inventory control.
  • Ability to deliver accurate daily, weekly, monthly and quarterly reports.
  • Ability to track inventory movement, including releasing and receiving stock.
  • Ability to prepare routine administrative paperwork.
  • Excellent organisational and interpersonal skills
  • Good problem-solving skills
  • Good communications skills.
  • Service-oriented
  • Detail-Oriented
  • Quick learner, able to follow and execute instructions.
  • Clerical skills and attention to detail.
  • Knowledge of invoicing and shipping procedures (waybills, logbooks, bin cards).
  • Minimum of one year of inventory management hands-on work experience
