We are recruiting to fill the position below:

 

Job Title: FSO Marine Operations Manager

Location: Port Harcourt, Rivers

Reports to: Marine Assurance Manager

Description  

  • Responsible for all marine electronic surveillance aids installed on offshore installations within JVA offshore locations
  • Responsible for Materials Logistics arriving and leaving the FSO .
  • Responsible for marine activities on FSO (Loading/unloading bulk, export crude oil, FSO stability, SIMOPS activities involving naval assets, monitoring of vessels and follow up of inspection/audit, advisor for extra naval activities like seismic or diving campaign)
  • Manage interface between marine and other disciplines (Production, Maintenance, Inspection, HSE, Security).
  • On site contract management, responsible for safe and efficient activity of Marine operations Service and Stevedoring personnel.
  • Responsible for lifting operations of Deck Team, management of lay down area and bulk transfers
  • Manage personnel logistic for FSO and units linked to the FSO (e.g., Flotel)
  • Responsible for personnel movement from/to FSO & Intra field (Helicopter, Fast Crew Boat)
  • Responsible for helideck equipment.
  • Be responsible for achievement of agreed objectives and corrective actions defined into contractor audit plan
  • Adapt the changes in work practices & activities. Act in the best interest of the affiliate at all time

  • Seek out learning opportunities and transfer new skills and knowledge to the job.

  • Oversees collision risk monitoring in defense of offshore installations

  • Perform regular HSE meetings with contractors

Qualifications

  • Master Class 1 experience with a minimum of 3 years as Master or Senior officer on trading tanker and minimum 3 years’ experience in FSO operations in a senior position linked to marine activities.
  • BOSIET/HUET equivalent for offshore survival and helicopter transport
  • Experience or training for lifeboat coxswain / small boat handling course
  • Experience in Helicopter operations.
  • Trained and experienced in pilotage operations at export buoy or tandem
  • Completed a Bridge Resource management & ISPS training.
