Job Title: Frontend Engineer

Job Description

• As a Frontend Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in designing and implementing user interfaces for web applications. You will work closely with UX/UI designers and backend developers to create visually appealing and highly responsive user interfaces. Your expertise in frontend technologies and attention to detail will contribute to the overall success of our software products.

Responsibilities

Web Development:

• Develop efficient and modular frontend code using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript frameworks (e.g., React, Angular, Vue.js).
• Implement and maintain responsive designs to support various devices and screen sizes.

Cross-Functional Collaboration:

• Work closely with backend developers to integrate frontend components with server-side logic.
• Collaborate with product managers and stakeholders to understand requirements andprovide technical insights.

UI / UX Design Implementation:

• Collaborate with UX/UI designers to translate design mockups into functional and responsive web interfaces.
• Ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs and implement them with high fidelity.

Code Optimization and Performance:

• Optimize web applications for maximum speed and scalability.
• Conduct performance analysis and implement improvements to enhance the overall user experience.

Testing and Debugging:

• Conduct thorough testing of frontend components to ensure functionality and troubleshoot issues.
• Collaborate with quality assurance teams to identify and address bugs and usability issues.

Version Control and Collaboration:

• Use version control systems (e.g., Git) to manage and track changes to the codebase.
• Work collaboratively with team members using Agile methodologies

 Continuous Learning:

• Stay abreast of industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies related to frontend development.
• Continuously enhance skills and knowledge to improve individual and team performance.

Documentation:

• Document frontend architecture, codebase, and development processes.
• Contribute to the creation and maintenance of coding standards.

Qualifications and Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Experience with modern frontend frameworks such as React, Angular, or Vue.js.
• Understanding of cross-browser compatibility issues and ways to work around them.
• Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• 3+ years of proven experience as a Frontend Developer or similar role with React.
• Strong proficiency in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Familiarity with UI/UX design principles and the ability to collaborate effectively with
• designers.

Salary

• N500,000 - N700,000 per month.
