Job Description
The front desk officer in an Airbnb will be responsible for managing the reception area and ensuring the smooth operations of the property. Job description:

• Greeting guests and checking them in: The front desk officer is the first point of contact for guests and must greet them warmly and efficiently. They are responsible for checking guests in and out of the property, verifying their identification and payment information, and providing them with any necessary information about their stay.
• Coordinating with housekeeping and maintenance: The front desk officer is responsible for coordinating with the housekeeping and maintenance staff to ensure that guest rooms are cleaned and maintained to a high standard.
• Managing payment transactions: The front desk officer must manage payment transactions, including processing guest payments and reconciling the cash drawer at the end of each shift.
• Ensuring security: The front desk officer must monitor the property to ensure the safety and security of guests, and report any suspicious activity to management or the authorities.
• Responding to guest inquiries: The front desk officer must be knowledgeable about the property and the surrounding area to answer any questions guests may have. They must also be able to provide recommendations for local attractions and restaurants.
• Managing reservations: The front desk officer is responsible for managing reservations, including booking new guests and managing changes or cancellations.
• Maintaining guest records: The front desk officer must keep accurate records of guest information, including their contact details, payment information, and any special requests or needs.

Requirements

• Candidates should possess a Bachelor's Degree qualification with 1 - 2 years work experience.
