We are recruiting to fill the position below:

 

Job Title: Financial Controller

Location: Lagos
Job type: Full-time

Responsibilities

  • Provide overall guidance, leadership and direction in the execution of financial activities within the company.
  • Provide management with timely, complete, and accurate financial information for business decision-making.
  • Support management in the implementation of effective controls and ensure compliance with all statutory and technical accounting requirements.
  • Oversee the development of yearly budgets/forecasts and provide prompt and accurate performance reporting to the management.
  • Anticipate and control financial risks by ensuring the availability of accurate financial data in line with business objectives.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, Economics, or Business-related fields
  • Relevant professional certifications and memberships (e.g., ACA, ACCA, CFA)
  • Minimum of 12 years of experience, with at least 4 years in finance leadership roles

Key Professional Attributes:

  • Integrity and excellent stakeholder management
  • Expertise in digital finance (data & analytics)
  • Knowledge of ERP systems, preferably MS Dynamics
  • Proficiency in financial reporting, treasury, FP&A, and tax.
  • Strong business partnering and job ownership skills
  • Assertiveness and interpersonal skills
  • Proven leadership capabilities
