The Pampam Development Initiative (PDI) is a visionary National Non-Governmental Organization (NNGO) established in February 2019, with its head office based in Yola, Adamawa State, Northeast Nigeria. As a National Non-Governmental Organization, PDI is registered under the Corporate Affairs Commission, holding the certificate number CAC/IT/NO 132253 since the 16th of July 2019. Since the inception of PDI, it has been driven by the aspiration to create a sustainable world for future generations. Job Description

  • The Pampam Development Initiative (PDI) is a National Non-Governmental Organisation (NNGO) with the core mandate of providing humanitarian assistance to persons affected by disasters or conflicts, leading to their displacement, or living in a stressed condition.
  • The organisation also strives to make individuals and community members live in good health and wellbeing, through the creation and improvement of access to quality health, education, nutrition, protection, and WASH services.
  • The organisation also ensures that the people have and live in a decent and friendly environment, by ensuring environmental preservation and sustainability. We are located at: Bornoma House, No. 94 Mohammed Willapha way, Jimeta - Yola Adamawa State, Nigeria.

Responsibilities
The Finance Officer is expected to undergo the following duties, roles and responsibilities:
Budgeting and Financial Planning:

  • Develop and manage project budgets, ensuring funds are allocated appropriately.
  • Monitor project expenses and financial performance.

Coordination with Program Manager (PM):

  • Collaborate with the PM to align financial activities with project goals.
  • Provide regular activity reports, including field photos, after each session.

Confidentiality and Data Security:

  • Handle confidential information responsibly, limiting access to authorized team members.
  • Maintain strict control over proprietary data and avoid unauthorized dissemination.

Contractual Compliance:

  • Adhere to the terms and conditions outlined in the contract.
  • Understand that inadequate performance or violations may lead to termination.

Financial Reporting:

  • Prepare and review financial reports related to the project.
  • Ensure compliance with financial regulations and reporting requirements.

Risk Management:

  • Identify financial risks and propose mitigation strategies.
  • Monitor financial health and address any deviations from the budget.

Requirements

  • Candidates should possess a Bachelor's Degree with 2 - 5 years experience.
