Job Summary

  • We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Finance Officer to join our finance team.
  • The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing financial transactions, maintaining accurate financial records, and providing insights to support business decisions.
  • This role is crucial in ensuring the financial health and sustainability of our operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Financial Reporting: Prepare and analyze financial statements, reports, and budgets, ensuring accuracy and compliance with local regulations.
  • Accounts Management: Oversee accounts payable and receivable processes, ensuring timely payments and collections.
  • Vendor Management: Maintain relationships with vendors and service providers, negotiating terms and ensuring timely payments.
  • Financial Analysis: Conduct financial analysis to support decision-making processes, identifying trends and providing actionable insights.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Ensure compliance with tax regulations, labor laws, and other financial-related legal requirements.
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with other departments to provide financial insights that support strategic initiatives.
  • Reconciliation: Perform monthly reconciliations of bank statements and general ledger accounts, identifying discrepancies and resolving issues.
  • Cash Flow Management: Monitor cash flow, preparing forecasts to ensure the company has adequate funds to meet operational needs.
  • Budgeting: Assist in the development and monitoring of budgets, providing variance analysis and recommendations for cost control.
  • Audit Support: Prepare documentation for internal and external audits, ensuring compliance with financial policies and procedures.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Professional certification (e.g., ACCA, ACA, ICAN) is a plus.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in finance or accounting, preferably in the advertising or media industry.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage) and Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
