Job Description

• The Finance Controller will play a key role in overseeing the financial operations of the organization, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and efficiency. This role requires a strategic mindset, strong analytical skills, and the ability to provide valuable insights to support decision-making at all levels of the organization.

Key Responsibilities
Financial Planning and Analysis:

• Develop and maintain financial models to support budgeting, forecasting, and long-term strategic planning.
• Prepare regular financial reports and presentations for senior management, highlighting key performance indicators and variance analysis.
• Analyze financial data and trends to identify opportunities for cost savings, revenue enhancement, and process improvement.

Financial Reporting and Compliance:

• Oversee the preparation and review of financial statements in accordance with GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles) and regulatory requirements.
• Coordinate with external auditors and tax advisors to facilitate audits and ensure timely filing of tax returns.
• Ensure compliance with internal policies and procedures, as well as relevant laws and regulations.

Treasury and Cash Management:

• Manage the organization's cash flow, including forecasting cash needs and optimizing liquidity.
• Develop and implement strategies to mitigate financial risks, such as currency exchange risk and interest rate risk.
• Monitor banking activities, reconcile bank accounts, and oversee the processing of payments and receipts.

Financial Operations and Controls:

• Establish and maintain robust financial controls to safeguard company assets and ensure the integrity of financial data.
• Review and approve accounting transactions, journal entries, and account reconciliations.
• Identify opportunities to streamline financial processes and improve efficiency through automation and technology solutions.

Leadership and Team Management:

• Lead and develop a team of finance professionals, providing guidance, coaching, and support to foster a high-performing culture.
• Foster collaboration and cross-functional partnerships with other departments to achieve organizational goals.
• Set clear goals and objectives for the team, and provide regular feedback and performance evaluations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• At least 3 years of progressive experience in finance or accounting roles.
• Strong technical knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting standards.
• Demonstrated leadership ability, with a track record of building and developing high-performing teams.
• Effective communication skills, with the ability to convey financial information clearly and concisely to stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex financial data and provide actionable insights.
• Experience with ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) systems and financial software applications.
