Job Title: Finance and Administrative Executive

Department: Finance & Administrative
Location: Lagos
Reports To: Finance & Administrative Manager

Summary

  • The Executive is required to support the day to day finance & administrative functions of the company.
Responsibilities
Finance:
  • Processing daily financial transactions using Peach-tree.
  • Undertaking & ensuring banks accounts reconciliation.
  • Monthly reconciliation of all bank statements
  • Ensure office consumables never run out.
  • Assisting Administrative/ Finance Manager as necessary; undertaking any other tasks/duties as may be required.
  • Produce imprest retirement, outstanding invoices statement & other weekly reports as requested.
  • Inputting all transactions onto accounting system
  • Day to day management of office petty cash; production of monthly spread sheets and entering into accounting system
Administration:
  • Compiling papers in advance and taking minutes of meetings
  • Assisting with coordinating general maintenance and repairs of the office building: sourcing contractors, getting quotes for work etc.
  • Delegating work to casual staff and managing their workload and output
  • Maintaining records, filing systems and computer files; obtaining information from the computer, Drafting letters and other documents, photocopying documents.
  • Plan and implement office systems, layout and equipment procurement
  • Maintain and replenish inventory, check stock to determine inventory levels, recording office expenditure and managing the budget; anticipate needed supplies and verify receipt of supply.
Skills and Specifications
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office tools & applications.
  • Possess charismatic and organizational skills
  • Good Communication skill (Verbal and Writing)
  • Good email writing skills
  • Very good knowledge of Peach-tree Accounting
  • Possess proactive and problem solving skills
  • Must be a team player
