Job Title: Finance and Accounting Analyst

Description 

  • We are seeking a Finance and Accounting Analyst to join our Operations team. The successful candidate will play a critical role in supporting the delivery of general accounting and operations tasks within the company.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain accurate financial records: Record, classify, and summarize financial transactions using accounting software and tools.
  • Support audits: Assist in internal and external audits by organizing and providing necessary financial documents and reports.
  • Identify cost-saving opportunities: Analyze financial data to identify potential areas for cost reduction and operational efficiency.
  • Provide financial guidance: Advise management on financial decisions, investments, and strategies to optimize financial performance.
  • Perform financial analysis: Analyze and interpret financial statements and reports to identify trends, variances, and areas of improvement.
  • Prepare financial statements: Create accurate and timely financial reports, such as balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
  • Ensure compliance with financial regulations: Comply with relevant accounting principles, laws, and standards to ensure accurate financial reporting and adherence to regulations.
  • Assist in budgeting and forecasting: Collaborate with other teams to develop annual budgets, monitor spending, and provide financial projections.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with team members and stakeholders.
  • Integrity and confidentiality in handling sensitive financial information.
  • At least 2 years of proven experience as an Accountant and Operations personnel or in a similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles, regulations, and financial analysis techniques.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in financial record-keeping and reporting.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
