Job Title: Factory Account Manager

Location: Sango-Otta, Ogun
Employment Type: Full Time

Key Responsibilities
Support for Strategic Decision-Making:

  • Provide critical analysis and insights to the Supply Chain Business Controller and the factory management to facilitate informed strategic decisions.
  • This includes conducting periodic evaluations of product profitability and assessing contract manufacturing activities to ensure alignment with the organization's financial goals.

Accounting Entries Control and Monitoring:

  • Oversee and ensure the accuracy and completeness of all accounting entries within the company's ERP system (NAV).
  • This involves rigorously controlling and monitoring entries to guarantee they are correctly coded and reflect the financial transactions accurately, maintaining the integrity of the company's financial records.

Periodic Stock Counts Organization:

  • Collaborate with the Inventory and Fixed Asset Manager to organize and conduct periodic stock counts of all raw and packaging materials, work in process, finished products, spare parts etc.
  • This ensures inventory accuracy, reduces the risk of discrepancies, and supports effective inventory management.

Supporting activities to other departments:

  • Ensure prompt and timely support to other departments where necessary.
  • Weekly production order monitoring to ensure that production orders are accounted for and closed based on agreed timelines.

Monthly Production Output Reporting:

  • Prepare and present detailed monthly analytical reports on production output.
  • These reports offer valuable insights into production efficiency, cost managementand overall factory performance, enabling management to make data-driven decisions.
  • To flag deviations and ensure the affected unit justifies the basis for such and where necessary, corrective measure(s) is/are taken and well documented

Management Information Analysis:

  • Conduct thorough management information analysis, providing timely and actionable advice to management.
  • This analysis supports better decision-making by identifying trends, variances, and potential areas for improvement within the factory's operations.

Supervision:

  • Ability to positively influence line reports/members of the unit via training/coaching to improve their productivity and quality of work.
  • Periodic engagements of the line report.

Requirements

  • HND / BSc in Finance or a related field, such as Economics, Accounting, or Business Administration plus ICAN
  • Minimum Relevant Experience
  • Minimum of 5 years Cognate Experience.
