Job Title: Executive Communication Officer

Location: Benin, Edo
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Summary

• The Executive and Communication Officer (ECO) will work directly with the Managing Director and will be responsible for effectively managing the Director’s activities while ensuring a seamless and smooth running of the MD’s office. 
• Candidate will also be responsible for client management and external communication of the organization
• The ideal candidate should be able to work with minimal or no supervision, be proactive, possess problem-solving, be highly professional and open go flexible working hours. Proficiency in managing the director’s activities to meet set goals is also highly needed.

Key Responsibilities
As the ECO, your key responsibilities will be to:

• Effectively manage the director’s day-to-day activities.
• Plan, coordinate, organize and manage all tasks.
• Calendar management
• Manage customer's complaints and enquires
• Develop official statement for press release
• Manage the organization’s internal and external communications.
• Develop and implement a communication strategy
• Resolve all client complaints and respond to all enquiries
• Represent the director at official assignments when needed
• Take minutes of all director's meetings and engagements and follow up on pending and assigned responsibilities.
• Ensure consistent office supply

Qualifications

• University graduate, Law Degree preferably.
• 3 – 4 years experience in similar role work experience in a similar role.
• Availability for travel and flexible work hours.
• High organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Possess advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office tools.
• Are able to function effectively in a variety of roles within a dynamic environment under minimum supervision.
• Effective written and oral communication skills.
• People management skills and customer-centric.

Salary
Open to negotiation.
