The Enugu State College of Education (Technical) Enugu therefore invites
applications from suitably qualified candidates (Internal and External)
for appointment into the below positions:
Job Title: Provost
Location: Enugu
Duties
- The Provost is the academic and Chief Executive Officer of the
College and shall be responsible for the execution of the policy
decisions of the Council and day to day administration of the College.
Qualification and Experience
- The candidate must possess at least a Doctorate Degree in a
Teaching subject, in the field of Education preferably a subject taught
in the College, from a recognized institution plus at least 12 years
cognate experience, and a professional teaching qualification.
- Also He/She must be registered with the Teachers Registration Council of Nigeria.
- The Candidate must show evidence of ability to provide academic and administrative leadership.
- Age requirement is a minimum of 35 years.
- He/She must have attained the position of a Chief Lecturer or equivalent in an institution of higher learning.
Job Title: Registrar
Location: Enugu
Duties
- The candidate must have attained the position of a Deputy
Registrar at least for six years in an institution of higher learning.
- The Registrar is the Chief Administrative Officer of the
College and is responsible to the Provost for the day to day
Administration of the College.
- H/She is a Principal Officer and Head of Registry Division.
- He/She is also the Secretary to the Governing Council, Academic Board and other Statutory Committees.
- He/She is responsible for keeping the record of the Institution
Qualification and Experience
- The candidate should possess a good honours Degree in any of
the Arts/Social Sciences/Humanities from a recognized Institution plus
at least 17 years cognate experience, or a holder of Masters Degree
from a recognized institution plus 15 years cognate experience, or a
holder of a Doctorate Degree plus 12 years cognate experience.
- Possession of higher Degree in Educational Administration and Planning will be an added advantage.
- Age requirement is a minimum of 35 years.
Job Title: Chief Security Officer
Location: Enugu
Duties
- The candidate will be in charge of overall control of all
security personnel, advise the Provost on prevention and diffusion of
security problems in the college and evolve a security framework that
check-mates trouble-makers.
Qualification and Experience
- The candidate must be an Ex-Police not below the rank of
Assistant Superintendent of Police, or Military/Pera-Military Officer of
equivalent rank with at least 10 years service experience.
- Age requirement is a minimum of 35 years.
Terms of Appointment/Conditions of Service
- Terms and conditions of service are the same as those obtainable in comparable State Tertiary Institution in the country.
