Job Title: Marketing Director - Telecommunications

Job Description
- An opportunity exists to join a leading telecommunications service provider in Nigeria, in a strategic Marketing leadersip role. By focusing on consumer insights, market and competitor research, the incumbent will develop products/service offerings and implement "go-to-market" strategies to achieve the organisation's growth objectives.
Amongst the incumbent's key responsibilities will be:
- Oversee the marketing department, which includes product development, pricing and business intelligence teams
- Plan, lead, coordinate, and implement end-to-end product marketing projects
- Develop a deep understanding of the company's target audience and related consumer insights
- Investigate consumer demand for current and future telecommunications products and services.
- Work closely with sales teams to develop pricing strategies with an eye on customer satisfaction while optimizing profitability and market share
- Work closely with other teams to develop and manage promotions
- Develop budgets and monitor the financial aspects of marketing projects
- Oversee social media marketing strategies and content marketing
Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field
- Minimum of 15 years experience in marketing and managing a marketing team
- Proven track record in conceptualisation, formulating, and developing telecoms products
- Experience with digital marketing such as social media and content marketing
- Highly competent in managning budgets, projects, and stakeholders
- Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills
- Highly entrepreneurial mindset
Job Title: Chief Executive Officer / Chief Operations Officer (CEO/COO) - Telecommunications
Location: Nigeria
Job Description
- An opportunity exists to join a leading telecommunications service provider in Nigeria, and lead the overall development and execution of the company's business strategies. Working closely with and advising the board, the incumbent will lead the implementation of comprehensive business plans to achieve the organisation's growth and expansion goals.
Job Responsibilities
Amongst the incumbent’s key responsibilities will be:
- Develop and execute the company’s business strategies in order to attain the goals of the board and shareholders
- Provide strategic advice to the board to ensure an accurate view of the market and the company’s positioning and growth
- Prepare and implement comprehensive business plans to facilitate achievement of business goals by planning cost-effective operations and market development activities
- Ensure company policies and legal guidelines are communicated and adhered to at all levels of the organisation
- Communicate and maintain strong relationships with business partners and regulatory authorities
- Oversee the company’s financial performance, investments and other business ventures
- Delegate responsibilities to a team of executives and provide guidance and motivation to drive maximum performance
- Planning for future solutions to ensure company growth
Requirements
- Relevant Tertiary degree, and MBA/Master's degree will be an added advantage.
- Minimum of 15 years relevant expereince, with proven experience as CEO, COO, Country MD, or similar strategic leadership position.
- Demonstrable experience in leading the development of strategic business plans
- Thorough understanding of market changes and the effect thereof on the telecommunications sector
- Strong understanding of financial measures of company performance
- Experience in sales would be an added advantage
- Familiarity with corporate law and management best practices
- Excellent organisational and leadership skills
- Outstanding communication, interpersonal and presentation skills, as well as analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Job Title: Managing Director - Mobile Money
Location: Nigeria
Responsibilities
Amongst the incumbent’s key responsibilities will be:
- Lead, direct, and build this strategically important business unit
- Oversee all operations and business activities in line with overall strategy and mission
- Create and drive strategies for Mobile Financial Services products that deliver tangible results
- Build trust relationships with key strategic partners and stakeholders
- Advise, influence and engage widely with peers & executives across the broader company and group
- Review financial and non-financial reports to devise solutions and improvements
- Hands-on project management in order to lead solution and/or product design, development, testing and roll-out
Requirements
- Tertiary qualification in technical Engineering or Business field
- MBA will be an advantage
- Minimum 15 years of relevant experience, with a proven track record in mobile money and/or banking operations, ideally in a Telco environment, Bank Payments, or Fintech
- Excellent written and verbal communications skills
- A strong entrepreneurial mindset, and outstanding organisational and leadership skills
