COCIN Community Development Program Molai alongside Christoffel Blindenmission (CBM) Country Office Nigeria entered into a funding arrangement with the CBM Germany.

We are recruiting to fill the position below:

 

Job Title: Driver (Logistics Assistant)

Location: Adamawa
Job type: Contract

Job Summary

  • Driver must be able to endure long hours driving, carry out vehicle maintenance checks and interact with clients in a professional conduct.
  • He/she should also practice safety and health regulations to protect themselves and other people on the road.

Essential Job Responsibilities

  • Schedule regular car service appointments and report any issues
  • Listen to traffic and weather reports to stay up-to-date on road conditions
  • Picking up clients from the place and at the time they’ve requested
  • Picking up office purchases or other administrative needs.
  • Utilizing navigation apps to find the most optimal route.
  • Arranging for vehicle repairs when necessary.
  • Updating monthly mileage records.
  • Ensuring that vehicle(s) have sufficient fuel and are always ready for use

Requirements

  • Driving trade test certificate, SSCE or OND certificate
  • Knowledge of area roads and neighbourhoods
  • Ability to remain calm in stressful driving situations (e.g. at rush hour)
  • Proven experience working in a similar role with knowledge of road network
  • Possess a valid driving licence
  • Good knowledge of traffic signs
  • Good technical skills in vehicle management
  • Ability to work in a team
  • Ability to lift heavy packages and luggage

Salary Range
N100,000 - N150,000 / Month.
