We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Driver

Location: Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Responsibilities

• Safely operate and maintain company vehicles, ensuring they are clean and well-maintained.
• Assist with the loading and unloading of cargo when necessary.
• Adhere to safety guidelines and protocols to ensure the safety of passengers, goods, and other road users.
• Follow all relevant traffic laws and regulations, including adhering to company policies and procedures.
• Plan efficient routes to deliver goods or transport passengers on time.
• Load and unload goods and ensure they are properly secured during transport.
• Inspect and report any vehicle issues or maintenance needs to the appropriate department.
• Maintain accurate records of mileage, trips, and deliveries.
• Provide excellent customer service by maintaining a professional and friendly demeanor.
• Handle all necessary paperwork and documentation, such as invoices and delivery receipts.
• Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers to coordinate schedules and address any issues or changes.

Qualifications

• SSCE Cert or equivalent.
• Physical fitness and ability to lift and move heavy objects when required.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to remain calm in stressful situations.
• Familiarity with GPS devices and route planning software is a plus.
• Valid driver's license for the type of vehicle to be operated.
• Clean driving record with no major accidents or traffic violations.
• Proven experience as a Driver in a similar role (if applicable).
• Knowledge of and ability to follow traffic laws and safety regulations.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.

Salary
N80,000 - N85,000 / month
