Job Title: DevOps Engineer

Location: Lagos

Job Description

  • We are seeking a highly skilled DevOps Engineer to join our team and help us achieve our goal of migrating our website to Microsoft Azure with at least 99.99% uptime.
  • The ideal candidate will have experience working with the LAMP stack and a solid understanding of Azure and its services.

Responsibilities

  • Design, implement, and maintain a highly available and scalable infrastructure on Azure, including load balancing, and managed databases
  • Troubleshoot and resolve any issues that arise with the Azure environment
  • Participate in the migration process and ensure that the website is properly configured on Azure.
  • Create and maintain disaster recovery plans to minimize downtime
  • Collaborate with development teams to automate the deployment of code and infrastructure
  • Monitor and optimize the performance of the website on Azure

Qualifications

  • 3-5 years of experience in DevOps or a related field
  • Strong experience with the LAMP stack
  • Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Solid understanding of Azure and its services
  • Familiarity with containerization and container orchestration tools such as Docker and Kubernetes
