Job Title: Housekeeping Supervisor
Location: Snake Island, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Summary

  • Develop and implement strategies to improve the functioning of the housekeeping department. Oversee all duties performed by housekeeping staff, assign tasks to the housekeeping staff, identify and report cases of tardiness, and monitoring cleaning supplies.
  • Ensuring that the housekeeping staff complies with all safety and sanitation policies.

Responsibilities

  • Assigning housekeeping tasks to staff and inspecting work to ensure that the prescribed standards of cleanliness are met.
  • Scheduling staff shifts and organizing replacements as required.
  • Investigating and addressing complaints regarding poor housekeeping service.
  • Providing training to the housekeeping staff.
  • Establish and maintain standard operating procedures for cleaning and develop new procedures to increase the efficiency of labor and product use.
  • Maintain regular inventory and checking of furniture, linen, uniforms, equipment in the rooms.
  • Evaluate employee performance for promotions.
  • Approval of supply requisitions for the housekeeping and to maintain minimum stock and cost control procedures for all materials.
  • Follow all company safety and security procedures
  • Provide budget to the management and control of budgets.
  • Check the reports, files, registers maintained in the department.
  • Regularly taking inventory of cleaning supplies and ordering stock as needed.
  • Issuing cleaning supplies and equipment to housekeeping staff as needed.
  • Organize, supervise and coordinate the work of housekeeping staff on day-to-day basis.
  • Ensure excellence in housekeeping sanitation, safety, comfort and aesthetics for hotel guests.
  • Prepare duty roasters and supervise the discipline and conduct of her staff.
  • Ensure proper communication within the department by conducting regular meeting with the staff.
  • Counsel and motivate employee on various duties.
  • Any other duties that may be assigned by the Manager.

Qualification and Experience

  • Diploma / HND in any field of study.
  • Minimum of 7 years experience obtained in the Hospitality sector.

Summary

  • To deliver quality sale service and attend to customers enquires; as well as ensure that they have a satisfactory dining experience.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customers with menus.
  • Take customer orders and relay this to the kitchen.
  • Serve food and beverages to customers.
  • Listen to any complaints that guests have and address them appropriately.
  • Prepare bills and process payments.
  • Delivering goods sales service by ensuring pleasant experience for customers.

Job Title: Executive Chef
Location: Snake Island, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Summary

  • Responsible for the supervision and training of kitchen staff, in addition to the production, quality assurance, and profitability of all menu items.
  • Assist with the creation of recipes for menu items, supervise line cooks to ensure quality controls are adhered too, and assist with the control of inventory.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for overseeing the kitchen staff and cooks.
  • To make sure that all kitchen staff follow safety and health standards.
  • Responsible for organizing and rotating all food in stock and taking inventory.
  • Checks the food stock for freshness and quality on a regular basis.
  • Requests to purchase food and kitchen supplies; and file requests with the purchasing department.
  • Makes a schedule for the routinely equipment maintenance, waste removal, linen and cleaning services.
  • Look into any customer complaints and be able to resolve such complaints on food service or quality.
  • Ensures the kitchen is a safe and hygienic place to work
  • Organise the inventory, storage, and distribution of foodstuffs and supplies.
  • Help to plan menus, apportion ingredients and use food surpluses
  • Control portion costs by working out the number of portions per food batch
  • Ensures food ingredients are stored in their designated area and rotated in the proper manner
  • Handles and trains staff to clean kitchen equipment carefully and safely to prevent damage or injury.
  • Implementing hygiene policies and examining equipment for cleanliness.
  • Setting and monitoring performance standards for staff.
  • Any other duty as assigned.

Qualification and Experience

  • Diploma / HND in any field of study.
  • Minimum of 10 years experience obtained in a well-structured Kitchen or five - star Hospitality setting.
