Job Title: Assistant Manager, Facilities and Real Estate
Location: Nigeria
Purpose of the Job
- To maintain a comprehensive and professional Facilities Management System as well as coordinating the day to day facilities management operations within Airtel Showrooms to provide a world class work environment for Staff and Customers while ensuring compliance to standards, guidelines & procedures.
Skills and Qualifications
- Environmental Science Degree, plus professional qualifications. Ability to prepare construction bill of quantities will be an added advantage.
- Good organizational skills.
- Confident articulate and hardworking team player with a desire to excel and a passion for the work.
- 4-7 years relevant work experience
Job Title: Manager, PS Core Planning
Location: Nigeria
Purpose of the Job
- This function is expected to act as the representative for business, technical and functional requirements in the area of Packet Core solutions to support Mobile Data services.
- The function will define the optimal topology of the packet core network to meet premium service level agreements and industry architecture for next generation Packet switched networks;
- To evaluate network design and define integrated planning/implementation criteria and guidelines with partners for capacity management and dimensioning of the PS core network;
- Also would evaluate delivery of PS projects to designed SLAs whilst exploring the most efficient ways to deliver any new functional requirements placed upon the 2G/3G/LTE Mobile Network which includes but not limited to voice, data and other services.
Skills and Qualifications
- Bachelor/Masters of Telecommunication/Electronic Engineering degree/Computer Science
- Detailed working Telecommunications Knowledge
- Analytical and Presentation skills
- Detailed understanding of 3GPP and GSMA standards for PS Core Network
- Minimum of 6-8years working experience in large Mobile Network Operator with the MPC or EPC domains.
- Multi-vendor experience - HUAWEI, CISCO, JUNIPER, ERICSSON, ALCATEL LUCENT platforms and packet core architectures - Including Charging nodes in data networks.
- Good understanding of the evolution of 3GPP core from 2G to 4G, which includes design, test and/or deployment.
- Experience on Ericsson PS core will be added advantage
- Experience of deployment of key network systems through the delivery life cycle from initial design to full operational handover
- Good project management Skills
- Experience in measuring, analyzing and interpreting network KPI ‘key performance indicators’
Job Title: OTT Video Content Specialist
Location: Lagos
Purpose of the Job
- This role will be responsible for managing our OTT video services business line-leading initiatives to guarantee licensing/purchasing of in-demand content, enhancing/developing new services in our OTT video portfolio and growing user adoption and engagement for our OTT video services.
- This role, reporting to the General Manager of Digital Innovation & Content, and will collaborate with cross-functional internal teams, work directly with Content Aggregators/Movie Studios/Movie industry stakeholders to drive the execution of Airtel’s OTT video strategy to ensure market leadership in the OTT video space.
Skills and Qualifications
- 7+ years of experience in purchasing/planning OTT video content
- Bachelor's Degree required
- Experience liaising with local and international video content rights owners in content buying and licensing for OTT platforms
- Deep understanding of content windowing for international and local video content
- Experience managing content curation teams for high performing OTT video services
- Digital Media, Content Services, Digital Distribution or other related experience strongly desired
- Direct work experience at a OTT content provider/aggregator, such as a major video or broadcast, and/or for a platform who sells OTT video services in this market
- Industry experience and relationships in the Movie, Telco or Media verticals
- Mid-Senior management experience in Content Management and/or Content Marketing
- Working knowledge of Video On Demand (VOD) technologies, ecosystem and business models
- Strategic thinker, analytical orientation with hands-on “get it done” attitude
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Demonstrated strengths in communications, risk management, conflict resolution skills working in a team environment and mentoring team members
- Awareness of the core systems used to perform VOD services (i.e. DAM, Transcoders, Order Systems)
- Willing to travel approximately 15%.
