Job Description

  • A control room operator monitors the fire alarm system, BMS, smart butler, CCTV, television channels, music to lift and public areas.
  • A control room operator monitors the fire alarm system, BMS, smart butler, CCTV, television channels, music to lift and public areas.

What Will I Be Doing?

  • Monitoring of the fire alarm system and implementing the hotel’s emergency procedure, monitoring the smart butler system, complaint handling, monitoring the television channels and public area music. Scheduling and programming the BMS for light and A/C to meeting rooms, external lighting and telephone calls.
  • Detailed record keeping in English is required for logs and inspection sheets.
  • Complaints handling for engineering related tasks. As an Engineering Team Member, you would also be called when needed to multi-task  in other sections.

  • Computer knowledge
  • Ability to handle emergency situation in a calm and relaxed way.
  • Good communication skills
  • Basic English language communication and mathematical skills in order to communicate with coworkers fully comprehend job assignments and perform accurate simple arithmetic functions.
  • Ability to perform tasks requiring bending, stooping and kneeling. 
  • Ability to move and work throughout the hotel for the duration of the shift.
  • Good hearing ability and clear sight.
  • Basic mechanical aptitude for operation and repair of hotel equipment.
  • Skill in the use of related tools (including both hand and electric tools).
