Rebuild Lagos Trust Fund Ltd/GTE is a not-for-profit public-private partnership (PPP) organisation birthed in the aftermath of the October 2020 civil unrest in Lagos, Nigeria. The fund was established by the Executive Order, NO EO/BOS/2020 for rebuilding and restoring affected state assets and landmark structures in Lagos, Nigeria’s commercial capital.
Rebuild Lagos Trust Fund was eventually incorporated as a company limited by guarantee on Monday, 26 April 2021 to enhance efficiency in the discharge of its mandate.

Job Title: Communications Lead

Location: Victoria Island, Lagos

Job Description

  • Rebuild Lagos Trust Fund (RLTF) is seeking a highly skilled and dynamic Communications Lead to join our team.
  • In this key role, you will drive and manage the Fund's communications strategy and ensure a seamless alignment of our brand narrative across all digital, social, and media platforms.
  • The Communications Lead will also oversee the studio’s creative production, digital presence, and stakeholder engagement, and support the team with ICT functionalities as needed.

Responsibilities
Operational (65%):

  • Ensure strict compliance with the brand manual and logo usage guide across all RLTF outputs.
  • Lead the creation of visual and audio content, web design, media relations, and social media strategies.
  • Coordinate media engagements, amplify key messages, track reputation, and oversee social media management and audience engagement.
  • Support inter-agency media relations and collaborate with the Lagos State Ministry of Information.
  • Manage the documentation and distribution of project materials, maintain digital content repositories, and ensure timely fulfillment of studio requests.

ICT Support Services (35%):

  • Provide first-line support for hardware and software issues, manage backend systems, and maintain a daily inventory of IT assets.
  • Perform troubleshooting, monitor system performance, and oversee PC software installations and upgrades.

Strategic Role:

  • Act as the key implementer of RLTF’s social media strategy and reputation management.
  • Build and maintain effective media relationships and stakeholder databases, ensuring a positive and consistent brand narrative.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in communications, Media Studies, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Proficiency in digital content creation, social media management, and website performance management.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to work collaboratively across departments.
  • Minimum of 5 years experience in communications, media relations, or a similar role with ICT support responsibilities.
