We are recruiting a highly organized and motivated candidate to fill the position below:

 

Job Title: Clinic Administrator

Location: Ibadan, Oyo
Employment Type: Full-time

Responsibilities 

  • Oversee patient billing processes, including verifying insurance coverage, processing payments, and managing accounts receivable. 
  • Coordinate and ensure efficient patient flow and clinic operations. 
  • Order and manage office and medical supplies, ensuring adequate inventory levels. 
  • Assist with the implementation and improvement of administrative processes and procedures. 
  • Manage appointment scheduling, including confirming and rescheduling appointments. 
  • Maintain accurate financial records, including daily transactions and deposits 
  • Maintain and update patient records, ensuring confidentiality and compliance with regulations. 

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred
  • Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) systems and practice management software
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in financial transactions
  • Ability to handle sensitive patient information with confidentiality and professionalism
  • Proficiency in using office software (e.g., Microsoft Office Suite).
  • 1 - 2 years of experience in a healthcare administrative role, preferably in an eye care clinic or similar setting 
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proficiency in medical billing and coding
