Job Title: Claims Manager

Job Description
- As the Claims Manager, you will have the opportunity to take ownership of the customer experience and related claims processes.
- You will own driving continuous improvement of process performance, serving as the main point of contact for customers and internal stakeholders regarding claim-related issues, guiding customers and colleagues in claims handling processes, facilitating recoveries from third parties, and providing recommendations for claims prevention and corrective measures.

Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the handling of all types of claims and ensure timely and accurate processing of claims in accordance with relevant policies and legal requirements.
- Deliver on Customer Satisfaction through focused initiatives and targeted improvements basis customer feedback.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders as well as external parties and maintain clear and effective communication to facilitate the claims process.
- Maintain detailed records of all claims and related activities.
- Ensure services are delivered to the customers as promised, with relevant root cause analysis being done and ensuring that customers are kept informed of relevant deviations.s
- Empower teams to solve customer queries faster and accurately, first time.
Requirements
Who we are looking for:
- A Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, law, or a related field. A master’s degree or professional certifications in claims management, risk management, or a related area can be an advantage.
- Background in handling customer inquiries and resolving complaints.
- Experience in identifying, assessing, and mitigating risks associated with claims.
- Significant years of experience in claims management, preferably within the logistics, shipping, or terminal operations industry.
