Chemonics International, an international development firm based in Washington, D.C., seeks professionals for the anticipated USAID-funded Nigeria Reproductive, Maternal, Newborn, and Child Health (RMNCH) Project, a five-year Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract.
Recognizing the window of opportunity to improve upon primary health care in Nigeria, this activity will contribute to state-level reduction in under-five and maternal mortality, and to increased capacity of health systems (public and private) to sustainably support access to primary health care. Chemonics will work closely with and support state governments, while strengthening their capacity in developing a robust plan for the health sector annually and provide support for its implementation.

Job Title: Finance Manager

Requirements
  • Master's Degree or higher in Finance, Business or related field
  • Minimum 10 years of experience managing financials for large ($25 - $75M) USAID contract
  • Experience working on an IQC mechanism highly desirable
  • Proven expertise in accounting and auditing, financial planning, and budgeting
  • Strong experience in planning skills and the ability to lead team and function effectively with donors and multiple host-country counterparts in both the public and private sector

Job Title: Director of Operations

  • Master's Degree or higher in Business, Management, or a related field
  • Minimum 8 years of progressively responsible management and leadership experience in a USAID contracting environment
  • In-depth knowledge of USAID rules and regulations, as they pertain to operation, procurement, administration, human resources, financial management required
  • Knowledge and proven experience in strategy development, staff oversight, program
  • administration, contractual compliance, and financial management of USAID health programs
  • Proven senior expertise in developing and implementing effective partnerships with partners, local government entities, other NGOs, and USAID.
  • Experience developing proposals and/or task orders for USAID required.


 Job Title: Quality Improvement Advisor

Requirements
  • Master's Degree or higher in - Public Health, Epidemiology, Demography, Economics, Health Systems or related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in global health preferably in Monitoring and Evaluation, Research, Health Systems Strengthening and/or Quality Improvement
  • Demonstrated experience with quantitative and qualitative data collection, management and analysis, including proficiency in use of statistical packages and Microsoft Excel
  • Demonstrated expertise and understanding of quality improvement approaches
  • Successful experience presenting data and information in compelling ways to different audiences
  • Exceptional verbal, interpersonal, and written communication skills in English


Job Title: Deputy Country Director

Requirements
  • Master's Degree or higher in International Relations, Public Health, Social Sciences, Management or a related field required
  • Minimum 7 years of experience managing large ($ 10 - $50M) USAID contracts.
  • Proven expertise managing large teams
  • Deep familiarity with Nigeria's health system and its stakeholders at both national and international levels required
  • Proven analytical and writing skills
