Our Client is the regulatory policy making institution for the financial services sector, the Central Bank of Nigeria has identified several positions for hire accross the different directorates in the organisation.



Potential applicants for the Information Technology specific vacancies from graduate entry level to experienced hires are required to fill vacanies within the IT division, applicants will be required to hold educational and professional qualifications

of a minimum of first degree/HND in computer science, Information Technology and related disciplins such as computer engineering, computer with eonomics/mathematics, management information systems and electrical/electronic engineering. A post graduate deree will be an added advantage. Applicants are not expected to exceed and must be confident, self motivated and result oriented individuals.

1. PROJECT MANAGEMENT OFFICERS - NEXTCBN/LOT1PMO: Wor with project managers helping them to plan, direct and coordinate the sucessful delivery of the Portfolio of projects in order to meet organisational objectives and maximise organisational benefits, will alos provide reports on progress, to aid better management insight and decision makin

RESPONSIBILITIES:
- assist the portfolio review board to priorities the portfolio of projects
- liaise and colaborate with project managers to ensure that the ativities, issues and risked are tracked and escalated
- administrative of documentation and project management
- provide single picture in accordance with agreed reporting practices of the status and the performance of all programmes and projet delivery to the program board
- create and review content for project meetingd with project managers
- create additional ad hoc reports as necessary

2. ASSISTANT BRANCH SERVICE CENTRE SUPPORT - NEXTCBN/LOT1CSS: provide telephone/email support to IT users for all IT related problems and requests for information services and interface with other IT support groups to facilitate resoluton of request recieved from CBN personnel

RESPONSIBILITIES

- provides operational service at any time that the user calls and receives and logs call from users having problems or inquiring how to use specific hardware/software

- extracts adequate information from users to appropriate level in support organisation

- provie remote access/VPN support and responds to ad hoc user requests

3. IT BUSINESS PARTNERS - NEXTCBN/LOT1BP: liaise with users to direct the provision of services to meet the nees of the organisation for new an enhanced services

RESPONSIBILITIES
- demand management and customer service management
- implement and maintain the demand process for new proposals with overall responsibility for steering these proposals through early phases of approval
- work with the organisation to larify and refine functional requirements and coordinate work in initial phases to translate these functional designs
- review the demand pipeline and the progress of new projects with business sponsors

ASSISTANT IN STRATEGY AND INNOVATION SPECIALIST - NEXTCBN/LOT1SIS: Assist in ensuring usage and maintenance of the IT strategy specialist and also direct and oordinates demand and supply planning, manages the annual operating plan an maintains the demand/supply forecast under the guidance of the IT strategy specialist

RESPONSIBILIITIES
- assist in developing strategies to align IT with the business of the organisations
- foster innovation within IT to reduce ost and maximise productivity
- maximise the linkage between strategic planning and business relationship management
- optimize throughput for application development
- assist in driving the technology transition efforts across the organisation, with major impact in terms of resource allocation and investments
- monitor ITD's operational ativity for alinment to the wier business objetives

- assist in translating demand requirements into supply requirements both manpower and capacity

9. BRANCH SERVICE CENTRE SUPPORT SPECIALISTS - NEXTCBN/LOT1BCSS: Provide adequate first level support to users of computers, peripherals, networks and office automation systems an provide effective user support services for CBN IT resources



RESPONSIBILITIES:

- track issues and service request via phone, email, chat etc

- troubleshoot the end user's issue and resolve upon first contat when possible

- accurately record and document all details of the issue or service request, including categorisation and priority into the IT service desk tool

- respond to end users inquireies regarding the status of incident/service request tickets, and perform follow ups and provide remote access/VPN support



REQUIREMENTS

RESPONSIBILITIES;

- manage daily capacity and availability requirements of network services and set up user accounts, permissions and passwords

- ensure operational service on the LAN and WAN network and the extranet gateway infrastructure and monitor network usage

- monitor systems performance and ensure adequate time and throughput to users

- maintain network servers such as file servers, VPN gateways, network storae systems and network's authorisation infrastructure such as network bac up systems

- Implement network security policies and monitor, identify and document and report network security policy breaches

- scan and analyse logs on routers, firewall, newtwor server, file and web servers

RESPONSIBILITIES

- tracks information of all IT assets bank wide and maintains records for failures of vendors in fulfilling their maintenance obligations for the purpose of surcharging them

- determine appropriate server size and configuration for business appliations and perform system maintenance, high level support of the operating systems and relative software and mobile communication components

- monitor CPU activity, memory usage, disk I/O and disk usage and mailing out warnins when these reach critical thresholds and maintain operating systems and shared IT infrastructure to maximise performance and
