The Confederation of African Football (CAF) was founded in 1957 by four nations: Egypt, Sudan, Ethiopia and South Africa. As the administrative body of the region, CAF manages competitions, offers technical and administrative training courses while actively fostering the promotion and practice of football. The Confederation organizes championships such as the Africa Cup of Nations (CAN or AFCON), the most popular competition. Job Title: Receptionist
Location: Cairo, Egypt
Job Description

Responsibilities
- Efficient management of all CAF internal meeting rooms according to reservations received.
- Operate the telephone switchboard.
- Ensure a friendly and competent reception of visitors (checkroom, beverage service, cab, individual requests, access control, etc.).
- Administration work.
- Store management: sales, assortment design, stock management/inventory, collection, turnover, accounting.
- Participate in regular team meetings.
- Close cooperation with event coordination, Facilities and Facilities-AV (technology).
- Support in daily routine, sickness, and vacation replacements for all Reception areas.

- Completed vocational training (commercial training is an advantage).

Job Title: Human Resources and Services Director

Job Description
Responsibilities
- Implement Human Resources strategies aimed at diversifying and professionalizing CAF and elevate the organization to the highest international standards.
- Develop human resources operations strategies by anticipating requirements and trends.
- Set Human Resources objectives and procedures in line with organizational objectives.
- Collaborate with management and staff to identify and deliver the required HR and administrative support.
- Develop and maintain the organization’s internal policies, rules, and procedures manuals.
- Ensure the organization’s compliance with applicable health, building, and safety rules.
- Collaborate with other CAF departments to prepare and implement an annual administrative budget.
- Oversee the execution of contractual charges of outsourced service providers.
Requirements (Profile)
- Master’s Deegree in Business Administration, Management, or related fields.
- 15+ years’ experience in different HR and administrative functions at various levels, of which minimum 5 years as director of Human Resources in an international organisation/corporation.

Job Title: English Translator
Location: Cairo, Egypt
Job Description
Responsibilities
- Handle all assigned requests and deliver by the set deadline (translation, proofreading, transcription, and subtitling).
- Clarify all content-related and linguistic questions with the proof-reader (if assigned) or the requester and, if relevant, keep the Project Management, Technology Unit, and Group Leader informed.
- Write minutes of Council and Congress meetings.
- Conduct terminology work.
- Answer linguistic questions from CAF team members.

Responsibilities
- Support the delivery of CAF/FIFA Pan-African Interschool Championship and manage tasks as delegated by the “Senior Manager – Interschools Championship”.
- Assist the Participating National Associations in the tournament registration process.
- Administer the email mailbox for CAF/FIFA Pan-African Interschool Championship.
- Order the needed material for the various stages of the competition Final tournament (Such as equipment, flags, stationary, trophies, and medals) and follow up with Logistics.
- Ensure all match related forms are submitted or received.
- Work on the incidents’ reports for the competitions.
- Regularly update the results and the calendar of the competition and synchronize it with the CAF Communications Department.

Responsibilities
- Responsible for organizing events’ activities during CAF corporate events (congress, meetings, summits, banquets, media activities, ceremonies and football tournament draws).
- Responsible for the coordination of all suppliers.
- Responsible for cost management and budget control.
- Provide regular information to all partners involved in the project (internal and external) and assure a clear communication with the member associations.
- Respect deadlines in accordance with the internal regulations/statutes.
- Draw up overall and detailed budgets, continuous budget control and prepare a total final account.
- Plan and perform inspections and draft corresponding reports containing measures, as well as monitor the implementation of these measures.
- Stage the corporate events and assist with the continuous further development of CAF corporate events (innovation, new techniques, processes).
- Write and prepare comprehensive debriefings and final reports.
- Prepare the necessary contractual basis in cooperation with the CAF Legal Affairs & Compliance Division and monitor the compliance of these contracts.

- Commercial qualification in marketing or event management.
- At least 10 years' experience in event and/or project management.
- At least 5 years project lead experience in an international event agency.

- Draft all corporate communications to the Participating National Associations to engage in the competition.
- Register and follow up with the Participating National Associations.
- Supervise and assist the Project Coordinator – Interschools Championship.
- Cooperate with relevant stakeholders such as FIFA, Ministries of Education, and other CAF divisions/departments.

Responsibilities
- Provide strategic advice to the CAF President and the Management Board on the vision, mission, mandate, and operations of CAF.
- Serve as focal point for interagency/confederation relationships and issues by attending meetings and drawing conclusions on the political implications in CAF and opportunities for interventions, partnerships, etc., which would require the active and direct intervention of the CAF President.
- Undertake coordination across the three pillars on budgeting, strategic planning, and corporate reporting.
- Review and ensure quality control and high-quality standards of all outputs and communications that emanate from the CAF President’s Office or are produced by the departments’ Directors in terms of quality, political impact, substance, or presentation; those reports are clear, objective, and based on comprehensive data and meet required standards before completion to ensure they comply with relevant mandates.
