Job Title: Project Driver
Location: Abuja, Nigeria

Global Fund
- In collaboration with the Institute of Human Virology (IHVN) as the Principal Recipient (PR), KNCV is implementing the Global Fund Public-Private Mix grant; Scaling up services for TB Prevention and Control in the 3 states of Benue, Akwa Ibom and Cross River.
- This will involve engaging primarily with the formal and informal private health sector in these states to find and treat missing persons with TB disease, an contribute towards the National TB, Leprosy and Buruli Ulcer Control Program’s (NTBLCP) TB treatment coverage targets.
- The overarching strategic objectives of the PPM grant include improving access to quality patient-centered care for TB, TB/HIV and drug-resistant TB services; prevent transmission and disease progression; and to strengthen TB platforms in the private sector.
Purpose of the Position
- The main responsibility of the Project Driver is to support logistics and maintain the vehicle. The driver will also ensure the safety of the vehicle and the equipment inside it and perform routine support services necessary for the project.
Position in the Organization
- The Project Driver reports to the Administrative Manager
As Project Driver you will:
- Convene project staff to their destinations within/outside Abuja.
- Daily inspection of vehicles.
- Keep vehicles clean at all times.
- Keep logbook.
- Register fuel consumption in logbook and on purchase receipts.
- Maintain office vehicles and report to the Administrative Manager.
- Submit a monthly car maintenance report to the Administrative Manager.
- Update vehicles particulars.
- Collect/drop visitors from/at airport.
- Ensure safety of office staff (a consultants) while travelling with the official vehicle.

Who Are We Looking For?
Education:
- Completed secondary school education
Knowledge/experience:
- At least 5 years of experience in a similar job

Job Title: Program Officer / Monitoring and Evaluation Officer

- The Program Officer/M&E will work with and coordinate the Assistant Program Officers in the three states to deliver on key project objectives.
- He/she will ensure the implementation of GF PPM TB project including monitoring progress against planned activities, critical milestones and targets as well as providing support and guidance to program counterparts to ensure that activities are implemented in line with GF policies and procedures to the highest possible quality.
- He/she will be responsible for M&E, collecting data from activities carried out in different states, sort and analyze information on the PPM grant activities as well as ensure timely and complete reporting on indicators and targets in accordance with approved GF reporting formats.
Position in the Organization
The Program/ M&E Officer reports to the Country Representative
As Program/ M&E Officer you will:
- Develop implementation plans and oversee the implementation of integrated TB, TB/HV and other medical services at facility level and community level with focus on the private sector in the three states;
- Provide technical assistance to NTP and Global Fund planning processes, including structured supportive supervision, project rapid assessments, situational analysis, evaluations and other related activities;
- Provide technical support and oversight to Assistant Program Officers on implementing activities in key intervention areas of PPM grant implementation in designated states/LGAs;
- Convene coordination platforms to support collaboration between KNCV and Global Fund PR and SR support, including State and LGA TB Control Programs;
- Support the development of guidelines, tools and recommendations related to the implementation, evaluation and monitoring of TB in private health sector settings.
- Ensure timely and complete reporting in accordance with approved GF reporting formats.
- Contribute to development of lessons learned from programs and projects related to TB and TB/HIV program interventions and apply these lessons to modify existing program and improve the design of new programs.
- Represent KNCV to donors and government officials and manage communications with all other stakeholders, including civil society and other relevant groups on issues of PPM TB grant.
- Perform other additional duties as assigned.
Who are We Looking For?
Education:
- MBBS degree
- Master degree in relevant field will be added advantage
Knowledge/experience:
- At least 5 years of on hand experience working in TB, TB/HIV, HIV, and/or MDR TB projects, with extensive field experience in Nigeria
- Ability to collect, collate, validate and analyze program data and using the data for decision making
- Understanding of the Global Fund project policies and procedures
- Experience in managing a small project team for result
- Clinical management and training experience and ability to understand full range of issues around the clinical management of TB and TB/HIV including approaches to active TB case finding and linkage to treatment.
- Sensitivity to cultural differences and understanding of the social, political and ethical issues surrounding HIV infections.
Behavioral competencies and skills:
- Ability to work well with others and to develop and maintain compatibility among project staff, subcontractors, consultants and recipients of assistance.
- Ability to manage tight deadlines and deliver high volumes of work with minimal supervision.

Position in the organization

As Assistant Program Officer you will:
- Support the implementation of all components of the GF PPM grant in the state
- Facilitate engagement of private Health facilities and other relevant stakeholders for the implementation of the PPM grant
- Organize & conduct regular data-driven health facility supervision to ensure quality TB, TB/HIV, DR-TB surveillance and service delivery
- Provide regular technical support and supervision to field personnel, including private health sector care providers, Linkage Coordinators, sample movers and other related staff providing services along TB service delivery cascade
- Support facilities to ensure effective linkages for TB clinical cascade as well as integration with allied interventions including HIV/AIDS prevention, care and treatment
- Work with relevant state staff to disseminate guidelines, tools and procedures that will support the achievement of quality service delivery
- Contribute to the development of program strategies, subproject documents, work plans and budgets and ensure key performance indicators are met in line with the PPM strategy
- Contribute to development of lessons learned from programs and projects related to TB and TB/HIV program interventions and apply these lessons to modify existing program and improve the design of new programs

- Assist in strengthening a system of reporting on program progress against stated objectives and monitoring and evaluation frameworks

Job Title: Finance and Accounts Officer

- The Finance/Accounts Officer is expected to keep accurate, complete and up-to date office records for KNCV country office, as well as assisting the Senior Accountant with monitoring of the balance sheet and the supply of relevant information to internal and external stakeholders. Expected deliverable is to keep accurate, complete and up-to-date KNCV Country office records.
- Is responsible for preparation of monthly financial report to KNCV HQ as well as for the preparation of the quarterly financial reports to the donor.
Position in the Organization
- The Finance/ Accounts officer reports to the Senior Accountant
As Finance & Accounts Officer you will:
- Enters approved budgets into the accounting system
- Provides financial data for donor/partner agreements
- Checks, analyzes and files financial reports from subcontractors /sub awardees
- Compiles financial progress reports in accordance with administrative guidelines, rules and regulations for submission to donors
- Prepares, monitors and verifies outstanding balances and funding requests
- Checks and assigns codes to all financial documents
- Enters financial documents into the accounting system
- Prepare and process payments in the banking system
- Ensure that all project incurred expenses are timely paid, documented and filed
- Assist in the annual audit process and related activities
- Assists procurement processes
- Maintains the petty cash accounts
- Prepares financial reports for internal and external stakeholders
- Prepares budgets and budget modifications
- Ensures compliance with all Global Fund and KNCV financial management and accounting policies and regulations
- Engages in financial and related tasks as required by management
- Assists in developing and updating financial management systems and tool
- Ensures adherence to all major financial rules and regulations which are described in the KNCV Field Office Manual and operations manual of Global Fund

Who Are We Looking For?
Education:
- Bachelor degree (Accounting, Finance and or Business Management)
- At least 5 years of experience in finance management, accounting and working in a project setting
Knowledge/experience:
- Demonstrable experience with accounting and financial reporting in Global Fund supported projects
- Knowledge of relevant accounting software systems
- Excellent Excel skills
- Proficiency in the use of computer application (Microsoft office etc.)
- Excellent written and verbal English language skills
