Job Title: Business Development Manager (Nigeria Office)

Location: Ikeja, Lagos

Job Description

  • Identify new business opportunities, initiate business development activities, develop and manage key client relationships amongst others
  • Keep up to date with the financial markets in a daily basis
  • Follow internal regulations and procedures
  • Complete required training and development objective within the assigned time frame
  • Provide progress feedback to the management.
  • Manage and execute the business development strategy and implement tactical plans to help meet and exceed organizational expectations
  • Maintain a strong development pipeline according to targets/strategy to be implemented
  • Using existing relationships with clients to generate new business

Experience and Qualifications

  • Proven work experience as a Business Development Manager or a similar role in the FX industry
  • A University Degree in Finance / Economics / Banking / Business Administration or related field would be considered an advantage
  • Solid experience with MT4/MT5 platform
  • Solid experience with CRM software and MS Office
  • CySEC Advanced certification will be considered as an advantage
  • Ability to work on own initiative, expand and generate business
  • Excellent use (oral and writing) of English and Hausa or Yoruba language.
  • Strong negotiation skills and ability to close deals (own portfolio will be considered an advantage)
  • Excellent communication and networking skills
  • Basic knowledge of technical and fundamental analysis
