Business Development Manager at the Institute of Credit Administration


The Institute of Credit Administration (ICA) is Nigeria's only nationally recognized professional credit management body, solely dedicated to the provision of micro and macro credit management education, award of specialist qualifications, development of skills and capacity building of people involved in everyday management of trade, financial, consumer and business credits not only in Nigeria, but throughout Africa and the rest of the world.

We are recruiting to fill the position below:

 



Job Title: Business Development Manager

Location: Lagos

Job Role

  • Researching organizations and individuals to find new opportunities
  • Increasing the value of current customers while attracting new ones
  • Developing and setting goals for the development team and business growth and ensuring they are met
  • Planning and preparing presentations
  • Communicating new product developments to prospective clients
  • Overseeing the development of marketing literature
  • Writing reports
  • Providing management with feedback
  • Identify sales leads, pitch goods or services to new clients and maintain a good working relationship with new contacts.
  • Revolves around good communication
  • Following up new business opportunities and setting up meetings

Requirements

  • Minimum of Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Marketing or related field.
  • Age: 40 years and above
  • Experience - Not less than 4-8 years in a similar position
  • Excellent organizational skills.
  • Ability to flourish with minimal guidance, be proactive, and handle uncertainty.
  • Proficient in Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
  • Comfortable using a computer for various tasks.
  • Experience in sales, marketing or related field.
  • Strong communication skills and IT fluency.
  • Ability to manage complex projects and multi-task.

Remuneration

  • Entry gross pay - N210,000 per month
  • Salary to grow based on performance
