Job Description
- Conduct market research to identify emerging trends, customer needs, and competitive landscapes in the technology industry.
- Develop and implement comprehensive business development plans aligned with the company's growth objectives and revenue targets.
- Identify and prospect potential clients, building and nurturing strong relationships with key decision-makers and stakeholders.
- Lead the end-to-end sales process, from initial prospecting and pitching to negotiation and contract closure.
- Collaborate with the sales and marketing teams to develop targeted campaigns, product positioning, and effective go-to-market strategies.
- Evaluate and analyze market data, sales performance metrics, and customer feedback to inform strategic decision-making.
- Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and networking forums to promote our brand and establish thought leadership.
- Develop and maintain a robust pipeline of potential clients and opportunities, tracking progress and providing regular updates to the management team.
- Identify and evaluate potential strategic partnerships and alliances to enhance our product offerings and market reach.
- Continuously monitor industry trends, technological advancements, and competitor activities to proactively identify new business prospects and stay ahead of the competition.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field. An MBA is a plus.
- Proven track record of 5 years in business development or sales roles, preferably within the ISP/tech industry.
- Proficiency in CRM software, sales tracking tools, and other relevant business development technologies.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines effectively.
- Availability for occasional travel as required.
- In-depth knowledge of the technology sector, including software development, Alternative Power, data analytics, artificial intelligence, or other relevant domains is very important.
- Demonstrated success in generating new business, achieving sales targets, and cultivating long-term client relationships.
- Strong negotiation and interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate and present effectively to diverse audiences.
- Strategic thinker with the ability to analyze market dynamics and identify growth opportunities.
- Self-motivated and results-oriented, with a proven ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
- Must reside in Abuja.
Salary Range
- N300,000 - N400,000 / month.
