Job Summary
- As the Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, building and maintaining relationships with potential clients, and driving revenue growth for our tech company
- Your primary focus will be to develop and execute effective strategies to expand our customer base and enhance our market presence
- This role requires a combination of strategic thinking, sales acumen, and strong interpersonal skills.
Responsibilities
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities, target markets, and potential clients to achieve sales targets and revenue goals.
- Develop and implement a comprehensive business development plan to drive growth and expansion in line with the company's strategic objectives.
- Conduct market research and analysis to identify emerging trends, competitive landscapes, and industry best practices to stay ahead of the curve.
- Build and nurture strong relationships with key stakeholders, including clients, partners, and industry influencers, through regular communication, meetings, and networking events.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales, marketing, and product development, to ensure alignment and maximize business opportunities.
- Lead the end-to-end sales process, from prospecting and pitching to negotiation and contract closure, ensuring a seamless and positive customer experience.
- Prepare and deliver persuasive presentations, proposals, and pitches to potential clients, effectively showcasing our company's unique value proposition.
- Monitor and analyze sales performance metrics, generate reports, and provide regular updates to the management team, highlighting progress, challenges, and opportunities.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, technological advancements, and market dynamics to proactively identify new business prospects and capitalize on emerging opportunities.
- Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and trade shows to promote our brand, establish thought leadership, and expand our network.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field. An MBA is a plus.
- Strategic thinking and analytical abilities to identify market opportunities and develop effective business strategies.
- Self-motivated, proactive, and results-driven mindset, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficiency in CRM software, sales forecasting tools, and other relevant business development technologies.
- Availability for occasional travel as required.
- Proven track record of at least 6years in business development or sales roles, preferably within the tech industry.
- In-depth knowledge of the technology sector, including software development, cloud services, data analytics, artificial intelligence, or other relevant domains.
- Demonstrated success in generating new business and achieving sales targets.
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex concepts and value propositions effectively.
- Strong negotiation and interpersonal skills to build and maintain relationships with clients and key stakeholders.
