Job Title: Business Development Manager

Location: Abuja

Your Role

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive business development strategy that aligns with EMRC's vision and market opportunities.
  • Spearhead innovative marketing and branding strategies that elevate EMRC's presence and reputation in the energy market.
  • Lead and manage all aspects of the grant writing process, from research and identification of opportunities to submission and follow-up.
  • Analyze market trends and data to inform strategic decisions and identify new business opportunities.
  • Utilize your extensive experience in the donor and development agency sphere to identify and secure funding, crafting compelling proposals and bids that stand out.
  • Establish and nurture relationships with key stakeholders, including clients, partners, donors, and development agencies.
  • Represent EMRC at industry events, conferences, and meetings, enhancing our network and influence in the energy sector.

Your Profile

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Economics, or a related field.
  • At least 3 years of experience in a business development role, with a proven track record in donor engagement, grant writing, and winning bids.
  • Strong analytical and communication skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly and persuasively.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with data analysis and reporting techniques.
  • Experience in the Nigerian Power Sector is a significant plus.
  • Demonstrated success in proposal development and project funding in the energy sector or a related field.
