Job Title: Business Development Manager

Location: Ogba, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Creating informative presentations to potential customers at meetings and conferences.
  • Creating and maintaining a list/database of prospective customers information using Sales force, CRM, Excel, etc.
  • Answering potential customers questions and follow-up call questions; responding to customers request for proposals (RFPs).
  • Create and assess a business marketing strategy
  • Promote products and services, represent the company at networking events and conferences, travel to events and meetings to meet with prospective and existing customers
  • Conduct online research via social media platforms to discover leads and new target markets,
  • Help plan and oversee marketing and advertising initiatives.
  • Responsible for developing growth in the company through increased sales and customer acquisition.
  • Collaborating with sales team to secure, retain, and grow accounts
  • Identifying, qualifying, and securing business opportunities; coordinating business generation activities; developing customized targeted sales strategies
  • Oversee product development.
  • Pitch products

Requirements and Qualifications

  • University Degree or equivalent
  • Two (2) - five(5) years in related sales experience; knowledge of sales process from initiation to close in a manufacturing/ production company is a plus
  • Persuasive and goal-oriented
  • Possesses an energetic, outgoing, and friendly demeanor
  • Excellent analytical and time-management skills
  • Ability to work independently or as an active member of a team.
  • Experience with lead generation and prospect management
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills; the ability to call, connect, and interact with potential customers
