Job Description

  • Our client is seeking experienced and talented professionals for the position of a Business Development Executive.
  • The ideal Candidate will be responsible for developing and growing sales, revenue and market share.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for identifying and generating business opportunities, building relationships with potential clients and driving revenue growth.
  • Develop Request for Proposals to meet client needs and Prepare Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for customer instructions.
  • Identify new business opportunities by cold calling, virtual meetings, etc.
  • Ensuring excellent customer service through regular client follow up.
  • Develop new import clients in both Air and Ocean/Sea Freight
  • Provide Comprehensive Freight Solutions for customers
  • Maintain existing business volumes while prospecting for new business opportunities

Required Experience, Skills and Qualification

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent required
  • Good verbal and written communication
  • Ability to identify and pursue new business opportunities to increase revenue, market share and profitability
  • Minimum of 5 years Industry related experience
  • Existing customer base and an established network of contacts

Related areas of Knowledge:

  • Freight, Freight delivery, Third Party Logistics, Air Import & Export, Ocean Freight, Domestic Freight, Global Export Shipment, Air Cargo, etc.

Remuneration

  • N400,000 - N700,000 (Gross Monthly Income / Performance Pay) Exclusive of Sales Incentive
