Job Title: Biomedical Engineer

Job Summary

• The Biomedical Engineer will play a crucial role in ensuring the reliability, safety, and effectiveness of our medical equipment. You will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, calibration, and repair of a wide range of biomedical devices.

Responsibilities

• Equipment Installation and Maintenance:
• Install, test, and commission medical equipment and devices.
• Conduct preventive maintenance to ensure optimal functionality.
• Repair and Troubleshooting:
• Diagnose and troubleshoot issues with medical equipment.
• Execute timely repairs to minimize downtime and ensure continuous operation.
• Respond promptly to equipment malfunctions and breakdowns.
• Calibration and Testing:
• Perform regular calibration and testing of biomedical equipment.
• Document calibration procedures and maintain accurate records.

Quality Assurance:

• Collaborate with the Product Specialist to ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
• Participate in product testing and validation processes.

Training and Support:

• Provide training to end-users on the proper use and maintenance of biomedical equipment.
• Offer technical support to internal teams and external clients.

Requirements

• B.Sc / HND in Biomedical Engineering, Electrical / Electronics or related field.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proven experience in the installation, maintenance, and repair of biomedical equipment.
• Familiarity with regulatory standards and quality assurance processes.
