individuals to fill the vacant position in its newly opened Guest House Research & Development Centre in Ibadan as well as its parent company in Lagos as stated below:


Job Title: Cashier/Account Assistant

Ibadan
Job Description

  • The jobholder ensures proper management of transaction activities, keeps records and s/he prepares the statement of account periodically.
Key Responsibility
  • Ensuring proper management, keeping record of proceeds and preparing statement of accounts.
Personnel Specifications
  • The applicant must possess an ND in Financial Accounting with minimum of 2 years work experience, numerical and assertive skills.
  • Computer literacy in accounting software is a must.
General Requisites:
  • Applicants for the above stated posts must be practising and committed Christians with good testimonies of turning point experiences and must be willing to learn.


Job Title: Account Officer

Job Description

  • The position manages effectively the Guest House’s transaction activities, and performs other related functions, prepares the Bible Guest House account for monthly meeting, monthly reconciliation of account, and analyzing income/expenses into cost centre.
Personnel Specifications
  • B.Sc. or HND holder or its equivalent in Financial Accounting with minimum of 3 years work experience, must possess numerical skills and be assertive.
  • Computer literacy in accounting software is a must.

Job Title: Warehouse Assistant

  • The jobholder assists the supervisor in handling the customers’ requests within the warehouse.
Key Responsibility
  • Attending and supplying scriptures to customers, ensuring proper stacking of the scriptures in the warehouse, ensuring thorough and up-to-date record keeping of transactions.

  • The ideal person must possess a National Diploma in Financial Accounting with minimum of 2 years work experience, must possess numerical, customer relations, communication and assertiveness skills, must have basic computer knowledge and knowledge of SAGE 50 accounting software would be added advantage.

Job Title: Information Technology Assistant

  • The position manages the office software platforms and process automation in his/her custody.

  • S/he must ensure day-to-day running of the computer system network, provide support to users of the network, troubleshoot communications- related problems, configure and maintain internet and e-mail services for users

  • S/he must possess an ND certificate, A+, Network+, Microsoft Certifications will be added advantage.


Job Title: Depot Supervisor

Job Description

  • The jobholder ensures that stock items in his/her custody are in good condition for sale and maintains error-free stock record at all times.
Key Responsibility
S/he must ensure zero discrepancies in stock and cash at any point in time and during audit spot checks, must ensure that receipts of stock from and returns to the warehouse are cross-checked for correctness and treated with utmost priority that they deserve, must ensure timely submission of reports relating to stock and sales on daily and weekly basis, must ensure accurate posting of stock receipts, issuance and update of stock balances for each stock items promptly.

Personnel Specifications
  • The ideal person must possess a National Diploma in Accountancy/Business Administration with minimum of 2 years work experience, musthave good knowledge of SAGE 50 accounting package, numerical, customer relations, communication and analytical skills arid must be result oriented.

Job Title: Warehouse Officer

  • The position co-ordinates the activities in the warehouse, supervises daily posting and updating of the stock ledger
Key Responsibility
  • The jobholder monitors the distribution vans/trucks, the posting of transfers/returns, the preparation of daily stock availability report and proper arrangement of stock in the warehouse.

Job Title: Maintenance Supervisor

Job Description

  • The jobholder will be responsible for the overall maintenance of properties at the Guest House.
Key Responsibility
  • The jobholder must ensure proper and prompt maintenance of electrical appliances, power generating sets, air conditioning units and other equipment.
  • He conducts routine checks on all facilities and presents periodical report on same, carries out repairs and advises on all technical matters relating to maintenance.
Personnel Specifications
  • S/he must possess an ND in Electrical/Electronic Engineering with minimum of 5 years’ work experience, knowledge of plumbing, air conditioning and other relevant skills will be added advantage


Job Title: Guest Service Agents /Receptionist

  • The position manages guests’ reservations and attends to their enquiries and complaints.
  • S/he is responsible for the checking in and out of guests.
Key Responsibility
  • S/he builds a positive corporate image, attends to enquiries, takes reservations, ensures guest privacy, and ensures guest complaints are promptly and adequately addressed.
Personnel Specifications
  • The applicant must possess an ND with experience in front office operation from reputable hotels, must possess good interpersonal relations skill, good communication skill, ability to handle and solve customer’s problem promptly and satisfactorily and must be computer literate.


Job Title: Cleaner/Gardener

  • The jobholder is responsible for the cleanliness of the guest house and ensures the functionality of facilities therein.

  • Reporting any fault or damage in the area of assignment and ensuring guests' complaints are attended to promptly.

  • The applicant must possess an SSC, experience in gardening is a must, must be physically strong with capability to work for long hours and must have good interpersonal relations skill


Job Title: Porter

Job Description

  • The position assists the incoming and outgoing guests with their luggage.
Key Responsibility
  • Assisting in carrying guest’s luggage into and out of the rooms, guiding guests to their respective rooms and ensuring they are comfortable.
  • S/he also sets up and re-arranges the hall before and after use.
Personnel Specifications
  • The applicant must possess an SSC, must be physically energetic and possess additional skills relevant to guesthouse operations


Job Title: Laundry Attendant

Job Description
  • The position is responsible for the laundry of guest and guest house linen.
Key Responsibility
  • Ensuring adequate supply of clean linen daily and attending to guest laundry needs.
Personnel Specifications
  • The applicant must possess an SSC with a minimum of 1 year laundry experience in laundry and dry-cleaning outfit or hotel’s laundry unit, and be able to work for long hours and must possess good interpersonal relations skill.


Job Title: Guestroom Attendant/House Keeper

Personnel Specifications The applicant must possess an SSCE, must have experience in house-keeping, must have worked in a hotel under house-keeping department, must be physically strong with ca ability to work for long hours, and must possess good interpersonal relations skill
