We are recruiting to fill the position below:
Job Title: Account/Audit Officer
Location: Lagos
Job Description
Duties include, but are not limited to the following:
- Audits of company’s books to ensure that company’s procedures are followed and policies not violated
- Monthly audit/balancing of stocks in store/warehouse and Stocks sold and monthly physical stocks count/verification
- Weekly verification of store bin cards to ensure adherence to procedures
- Tracking of payment terms;weekly reporting and flagging non-adherence
- Weekly reports updates on overdue payments and follow up through calls and demand letters
- Review of expenses to ensure adherence to approval procedures and policies
- Tracking of cash/chq payments into Company’s bank account and daily matching them to invoices (Call over only)
- Maintain and keep company’s assets register.
- Liaise with company’s external auditors for preparation of company’s account, Tax payments and relevant returns (monthly VAT returns, PAYE, Pension etc)

Skills Required:
- Excellent customer servicing, Interpersonal relationship, communication and creativity skills. Proficient in the use of accounting software particularly Peachtree.
Requirements
Experience:
- Minimum of 3years’ experience with 2 years in Accounts & Auditing
Educational requirements:
- Minimum of a Higher National Diploma in Accounting or a finance related course.
